I have this base on one of my tables right now. I'm considering building another table (would be my third) and want the same base. I have seen it for $500 with free shipping on americangamingsupply.com and for $400 without free shipping somewhere else.

Anyone know of a place offering a better deal than that?

And while we're at it, is YAT still the place to go for table materials? Last time I built a table was over 10 years ago.

Oh, here's a pic of my table...

No idea about the pedastal but how about a sweet sweet gaming suede for your playing surface from @T_Chan

For other materials YAT is still the go to when I bought materials last week. I believe you can get 15% off orders of $75/more with code RT15 or free shipping on orders over $150 with code FS150

YAT is great, but you can also scope out options at Joann's, and it wouldn't more than a few minutes to find a Joann's coupon for 20-40% off. When looking at table builds, look for upholstery fabrics - they are the ones wide enough to cover a rail in a single bolt.

As for table surface, I'd also go with T_Chan. Custom that puppy up. I'd also consider his gaming suede, I've heard nice things, and it is #1 on my list if my current table gets worn out.

I'm considering re-felting the table I have pictured after removing the chip tray and filling the space. Would be cool to have matching custom cloth on both, most likely with different base colors.

T_Chan's site says up to 2hrs of design work included. I wouldn't want an overly complicated design. Have people had good experience with their in-house designs?

I don't know of a better deal, but these are sweet and I'm glad to know they're on the market. I've played on plenty of top quality home tables; some have better quality rails and playing surfaces than casino tables. But for me, the thing that has always separated casino play from home play is the luxury of a footrail.

The downside, obviously, is that the table pretty much has to be out all the time... and it adds well over 100lbs to the table. But it absolutely sets the table apart and adds a really awesome look. Unlike many aesthetically pleasing visual elements associated with poker tables, this one increases instead of decreases functionality.

There are cheaper options with foot rails, but I assure you, the cast iron base is very very nice and completely solid. I've been using mine for 12 years.

We've done many, many cloths over the years and it's rare that anyone uses the full 2 hours. When they do, it's mainly due to a large number of revisions, sometimes 50+.

Also if you order 2 cloths, you get 4 hours total even if both are the same design.

So I'm a pretty serious home beer brewer. Would love the betting line to be a hop vine...

With maybe something like this in the center of the table... but better, see second hop cone pic

I'm really undecided on my "poker room" name, but I've gone as "Gameface" for better than 15 years, which works well for poker and my family name is "Young" which works well for beer brewing and poker playing in my home state of Utah (I'm a descendant of Brigham Young, which is not a great honor, he had 27 wives). Sooo... I'm thinking something like

YOUNG'S
Gameface Card Club

YOUNG'S
Gameface Poker Lounge

YOUNG'S
Poker and Tap Room

I'd really love some help. This stuff is not what I'm good at and why I didn't buy a set of custom ASMs in 2006

Yeah I can get something like that for you. Let me know if you want to get a cloth design started.

So how are people making mock-ups of their table cloth designs? Is there a template or something? I have the artistic skills of a toddler, but want to provide something T_Chan's design team can work with.

Some people are hobby or professional graphic designers so they make their own designs. Some of them purchase the cloth first, we start the design and they post them on the forums for feedback. Some people hire graphic designers as well like @p5woody or J5 Design create their artworks and then just send them to me for print.
