Hey yall, last year I got back into poker after several years of rarely playing and I’ve been hosting about 2 weeks to a month at my place. Currently we play on my back porch table with a cheap Amazon topper and it’s been fine and honestly everyone’s just happy to have a place to come play and most are even thrilled with the roll out mat we use BUT then I found PCF and y’all have ruined it for me . My games are friendly low stakes cash games mostly that are self dealt rotating dealer games so I’ve decided a round table would be perfect for my game.

My plan is to either build:
-A 60” round table top that can be set on my smaller 4x4 square porch table and then removed when done

-A 60” top with t nuts that can be quickly unbolted and removed from a pedestal base and stored away

-A 60” table with fold up legs

Looked through all the table showcase thread but I NEED more round table pictures so hoping y’all can flood this thread with all the beautiful round tables to give me inspiration on designs.

And here’s my current setup, it’s primitive and works but I’m ready for an upgrade:

Thanks in advance!

I love my round table for conversation, visibility, BUT its one of those WPT tables with folding legs. Making it perfect for 4 people, but when you're fitting 6 (or God forbid 7), you have a few people straddling the table leg. Pedestal is the way to go I think.

I’m really leaning using a pedestal base, running a few bolts in/out doesn’t seem like too much hassle for setup/breakdown on poker nights.

These all look awesome, something about a round table just does it for me, makes me think of some old cowboys in the Wild West playing cards in a saloon which will fit the theme of my poker room once my new house is built (hopefully this year).

@Jake14mw love the raised rail on yours.

@RagingAZN that gold ssc is the same style I’ll probably end up going with, that with cream vinyl for the rail is perfection in my eyes. How do those legs work out for you, is there any issues with foot room with that style?

Honestly, I think it's absolutely perfect. We played on the big oval table for the first time in months recently and what a pain. Trying to deal the length of the table and pushing pots to the ends just sucks. My round is 58" and initially I thought for 8 people 60" might be better, but it's still comfortable for 8.

Do you happen to have any pictures of a full table? Originally was thinking of maybe going with 54-58 but everyone seems to say 60” is best for 8

Round tables do seem way better for self-dealt games. Is there a “Barrington” round table that PCF likes? That is, $200 or less, no assembly required, and decent quality?

Alright, I know it is not technically a round table, but I love this 9 sided table from a scene in Casino Royale.

I’m not a fan of the chip wells BUT that is a sharp looking table, I’d take it for sure.

I haven’t seen any that are decent size, seems like most of the “budget” round or octagon folding tables are on the smaller side unfortunately

That colour combo will be sexy! I thought of doing a tan/chocolate vinyl but settled on black as I was worried about greasy arms getting the rail dirty.

We went with the screw in legs as we couldn’t get any pedestal legs here (without it costing me an arm and a leg) but suprisingly, they work really well. Nobody has complained and provided you arrange the chairs correctly, nobody has to straddle a leg. 2 chairs between each set of table legs if that makes sense.

Pedestal legs would be my first choice though.

You know I actually hadn’t thought about the rail getting dirty with a lighter color… still think it’d be worth the risk though maybe a quick wipe down after each game would prevent any staining. Eventually when we build our new house (hopefully starting this year) I’ll have a dedicated man cave and will have a permanent table that won’t need stored and I’ll want a pedestal base. For the time being though I want something easily storable, thinking some legs like yours with hinged fold up mounts might be the ticket
