Someone else probably better knows the history. The TL;DR version is low cost manufacturer from China that creates a nice product. Nothing happens fast with these though. I think it can be up to a 6 month project per order.

My set I ordered (see above) is for a high stakes is for 600 chips. With starting stacks 10/10/7/10 for 300k. 140/140/140/140/40 breakdown.

100% edge aligned.

You are paying in time here. Also you need some level of quantity to optimize freight shipping costs. Currently about $0.325 per chip edge aligned landed in the US if you have a group purchase with about 10,000 chips of various designs or the same design. However you are looking at several months turnaround time.

An e-mail from Tina today mentioned that these chips will be produced at the end of the month; however, I do not know the exact timing and ask that you remain flexible.

FWIW, she promised me a month for 16K, it’s been a month and now she’s saying mid-October, which would be *after* yours.
I ran into some holidays and you’re using an existing file, so that may help. Either way, I think business is good for them and she might be over promising a touch (or she doesn’t like me.) For 32¢, I’m not mad, but would appreciate a bit more transparency from her.
