Are circus game players the kinky swingers of the poker world? (2 Viewers)

RE: the idea that mixed games are more luck-based / random - the edge for truly skilled players is so much higher than NLHE, especially when games are rotating.

You see these guys at meetups who are basically like Neo viewing the Matrix's source code - tracking all the extra information a game like Scarney or Badugi offers for someone who can visualize 6 other players' draws and actions and constantly changing hands across streets, and doing the math in real time on what that means for their and everyone else's equity and bets.

Skilled players have such a significant edge over inexperienced ones, once they've mastered knowing when to push those edges, and have the cash to ride out the variance.

Yeah man, we get stoned

If holdem is cheese pizza, it’s a perfectly cooked Neapolitan margherita pizza.

Circus games are defrosted pizza with goofy toppings like you get served at kids Chuck E. Cheese birthday parties

My cheese pizza is…

God’s Game (5-Card Double Board Omaha)
Dra2maha
Big O
SOHE

(kidding aside, I don’t view this as a circus; skill and strategy still apply)

Corrected for you, need an Italian equivalent if we’re comparing to Neapolitan Margherita pizza.

Then there are the guys like me who are wearing Neo sunglasses but actually trying not to piss their pants because they had one too many old fashioneds, but can't take a bathroom break yet because @RocAFella1 just called shuffle derailment and I only have one pair on each board but I know @Josh Kifer's going to blast off his stack when his flopped quads go away on the river.

I have a talent for blasting off my stack.

I had to google edgelord.
Hey, it got us onto a fourth page in a slow week. Is that so bad?
Ya, at this point a part of PCF to me is what social media used to be. So I'm happy to see discussion posts as it gives a little entertainment and (sometimes) some good info/opinions.
