Did anyone pick up either that 500 or 900 piece set that sold today? If so and you have denoms you'd like to thin out, send me a pm.

I was bidding but since the lots weren't combined my combined bid was significantly lower than I would have been willing to bid if they were a single auction. Too much risk of getting one but not the other. Not sure why they decided to split them up.

I was watching those. The smaller lot went for pretty cheap - well under a buck a chip.

I'd guess that was because of all of the dimes in that set. I thought long and hard about chasing that smaller set. They have been a pita to find.

Right. Breakdown is always a problem with these chips - most sets have all the low demons - , .05, .10, .25, .50, - they must have retailed that way at some point, but why?
They’re pretty cool chips though. I have a small set - my least favorite paulsons, but still great chips. And If you’re looking for clay micro stakes that go down to a nickel, there aren’t a lot of options.
