Good news -- GCRs probably the nicest set ever made on the BCC flame mold.

Bad news -- GCRs were made using the BCC flame mold.

ANY other mold available from BCC at the time would have been a vast improvement, and well worth the few pennies/chip in extra expense.

Agreed, but there's nothing we can do about that now.

And the colors are still spectacular. They is what they is...

But if I recall correctly, BCC had specific ground rules for the buy, including that only the GCR stamp and the flame mold were allowed.

Yes, but most of my legacy sets are hot stamps. I try and only murder those that will become more after the process.

Now other people's chips.... I'll murder whatever they want. Personal projects, I try and kill stuff that can benefit from it...
