I would like to find some 43mm ceramic sample sets to review. I don't really see any on Apache, the poker store, poker chip mania or the chip cave, so looking for suggestions as to where to try to find some. I have samples of Royal Card Room (clay) which I really like, im just trying to find some comparisons in ceramic.

I've got most samples I want from BR. I'll take a look at that thread, I think it will be what I'm looking for

I just sold a bunch of samples to @LovNapkinz including a set of Tina No-Mold HUSTLER casino 43mm chips.

Maybe he's done fondling them and would move them on to you.

I’m think the BRPro chips are quite a step ahead in regards to feel and lack of spinners compared to the cards mold and the no-mold ceramics. The Tina ceramics seem to be able to get brighter, more vibrant colors.
The hybrid ceramics are on another level. Better feeling and sounding ceramic chips than I’ve ever come across.

I like a lot of the ceramics from BRP, however I cant pull the trigger on buying sets on them just because a lot of the designs are just too busy for me. The weight, and feeling and lack of spinners is definitely a plus in my book.

When you guys are talking about hybrid ceramics what are you referring to, BRP chips or something else?

@LovNapkinz I have a similar set to those HCL chips (Valentino) that are nice, but IMO too plain and not classic enough. If these have a better feeling than Valentino then I might be interested, plus I see a GB is up for them as well. FYI, I don't have any 43mm ceramic yet. The only 43mm I have is Royal Cardroom, and I may prefer those sizes over the traditional 39mm.

Hybrid ceramics have a recess in the center for a high-resolution label. There a greek, web, hat and cane, and a plain (I think), all available from Justin's group buys of Tina chips. Here's this month's group buy order thread:

Not to be confused with actual Paulson hat and cane clays…Tina has knock-offs, a review of them by another member here:

Yeah that would be nice too. Im not 100% sure I want ceramic over clay, but, the price is right. I might have to look into the ceramic hybrids for sure. Ive about got my Milano set complete, I might just have to make a few other sets if I like the hybrids :)
