What are some of the unwritten rules of poker? At home game or in casino.

I saw this on a card players Instagram account and thought it was interesting.

First response:
Walk away from the table to fart.

What are others?

Know when to hold em
Know when to fold em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You never count your money when you’re sitting at the table
There’ll be enough time for countin’ when the dealin’s done

And don’t forget the cardinal fuckin' rule...Always leave yourself outs

For home games:

-Don't show up empty handed, win big, and split at the earliest possible allowable time.
-Agree with stepping away from the table to fart
-Wait until after you're done posting blinds if you have to take a dump and say "deal me out" for a few hands
-No smoking at the table, go outside if that's your thing
-No one drives home if they've ingested alcohol within two hours of the game ending. I'm really strict about "last call" two hours before the game ends if you're driving home

I'll post more when I think of them.

Completely agree on don't touch the hosts hand. It bothers the hell out of me when I see the host at the computer updating a bust out or taking care of a rebuy and as soon as the action is on him the entire table starts yelling his/her name like the fate of the world is hanging in the balance. Never mind the fact that most of the table has either spilled something on the table, had to be reminded it's their turn four times, or somehow screwed up a big hand on the river while dealing during theast couple orbits that the host has had to clean up.....none of that is in their head, just "Are you playing or folding?!?!?! HEY, ARE YOU FOLDING? ITS ON YOU!! OK WE'RE FOLDING YOU!!!"

So. Damn. Annoying. And selfish.

Dont tell the worst players at the table how badly they played a hand. They dont care, it will piss them off and you risk them not coming again.
Even then, people new to the game and those aren't as skillful learn quickly when they keep coming to the game. Even in six months since starting to host again, I've seen previously nitty fringe players have some really good nights and pull some really good bluffs.

This conversation literally happens verbatim at least once a night in my game.
