Ketogenic Way of eating... (3 Viewers)

Way to go, Bill !! Feels pretty damn good seeing scale numbers that one hasn't seen in decades. :tup:

I occasionally have pizza -- well, pizza toppings, anyways. I'll order a loaded meat lovers with extra cheese and light sauce, scrape the slices onto a plate, pitch the crust, and chow down with a fork. Works for me.

I've "pizza" a few times using the carb wraps that @k9dr suggested. That works for me........Well, kind of :)

two days ago I was 200.2 (lowest in 20 years). Yesterday I was 203.2. Today I'm 200.00 lol. Bodies can be all fucked up sometimes. Either way, I'm ecstatic with the results.

I do need to find some other snacks. I'm getting tired of fucking almonds.

A friend of mine owns a very successful brewery in town -- she's the head brewer. I recently asked her if she would make a low carb IPA, suggesting that if she did, there might be a high demand for it -- by keto folks.

She told me, "Go drink a f*cking Michelob Ultra".

Funny but kind of short sighted, I know the places around here are having trouble keeping the Dogfish low carb IPA stocked, I've stopped by a few places around here lately and it's always gone.
 
I do need to find some other snacks. I'm getting tired of fucking almonds.
I make my own mixed-nut/trail mix: macadamia nuts, sliced almonds, pine nuts, cashews, dry roasted peanuts, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, and Lilly's dark chocolate chips. I mix up a couple of jars of empty dry-roasted peanut containers at a time. A handful goes a long way.

Am I more excited about the ice cream, or the new tourney set that arrived today too? It's a good question.

Now, I have to wait...before I can try it. Given the dry ice situation, I am thinking it is going to take far longer than 15 minutes of sitting out, before I can give it a try. So excited!!

I thought the mint chip was spectacular. The chocolate was OK, but I won't be ordering it next time. Mint chip, all the way.

I'll be ordering it again, sooner rather than later, as I gift pints to my local friends who are also doing keto.
They get the chocolate :) Because I'm nice, but not THAT nice, haha.

Glad you like it! The mint really is amazing, even my wife who isn't keto (damn skinny people) loves it. The heavy cream makes it so creamy and delicious
 
Just picked up peanut butter fudge, it's sitting out getting soft right now. Will report back later....

Broke a major plateau this weekend and saw 299 on the scale for the first time in a very long time. Next goal is 275 by December and 250 by March. Both should be doable once I add exercise

Congrats and keep going! Getting under 3 bills felt great
 
I'm just gonna say it... I'm not a fan of the chocolate pieces in the Mint Chocolate Chip or the Peanut Butter Fudge... Just never been a fan of the bitterness of dark chocolate.

I'll show myself out now.

I don’t mind the flavor of the chips themselves, there’s just too many of them. I’d rather have “Mint” flavor than “Mint Chip.”
 
SAT night when I got 4 buy ins deep in my cash game within 90 minutes I took a quick break, poured a bourbon, and grabbed some cheddar cheese potato chips (small handful). WOW.........was that the best thing that I have eaten in months lol Potato chips are my weakness, my vice so to speak when it comes to food. I love them. I only had a small handful vs the entire bag.

I forgot to get on the scale SUN morning. This morning I broke the 200 pound barrier. I don't remember the last time I was under 200. I weighed in at 199.4.

New goal is 190.
