Don't let anyone give you any shit... I get it. I absolutely cannot stand Chris Farley. I don't think there's anything funny about him. I just think he's an idiot. And there are people who harass me to this day about it.
Chris Farley is John Candy minus the intelligence.

Not a good analogy. They were very different. Fyi.. Chris Farley was intelligent.
I’m sure he was. IMO, it just didn’t come through in his characterizations.
I hear ya, though the film characters written for him were bumbling buffoons... so if he is doing it right, you aren't going to get much "intelligence" coming through in those portrayals.

Yeah, pretty much my take, too. I'll eventually get a chance to catch it from the start, but don't feel like I've lost much if it never happens. I do like most of Jeff Bridges' other work, though.
Never have been a big fan of Farley or Ferrell. Just a couple of dumb humorless F's....

One of the greatest movies ever, and John Goodman's "Walter Sobchak" character is my favorite movie character of all time. So much so that my puppy is named, "Walter."
