Cash Game Breakdown for 1000 chips (2 Viewers)

You get a tourney set of these too and you'll end up with $10K worth of chips. Not that it's a bad thing, but just sayin'.....

How about:

25c x 200
$1 x 300
$5 x 300
$20 x 100
$100 x 100

$100 x 100
Might not need that much fivers at this point.
I am sure I just have to add-on at some point (if I know myself) ;)

Btw. Methinks that CC hundo rack will be my new favorite rack.

Yep, and you can use the add-on opportunity to create a special commemorative version of the $5. I'm thinking adding two 1/8" spikes in each 1/4 pie (using the other 1/4 color) would be a remarkable chip.

You mean like dis? Or those like in 818 chips? Even thinner? Could not find a way to add them in the tool.

I like that version, too. But here's what I had in mind -- overlay the spots from the left chip onto the right chip:

FRAK! Now THAT would look pretty awesome. If only we could combine edgespots in chip design tool.

If you don't need that many $5s why get so many $20s and $100s?

Most people under buy $1s and over buy $20-25s and $100s

I'm guessing a lot of 25c50c some 50c$1 rarely $1-2 and a little $1-2 or $2-4 limit

99 times out of 100 what is the most you have had in play? Double this number and build a set to match (I like the bold breakdown)

200x25c 400x$1 300x$5 100x$20
Bank $3950 (Add on $20s and $100s if needed)

or

200x25c 400x$1 300x$5 100x$100
Bank $11950

or

200x25c 400x$1 300x$5 60x$20 40x$100
Bank $7150

If you try to do too much with a set ie 25c25c to $2-5 NLH IT WONT WORK UNLESS IS IS HUGE

My Opinion is worth what you paid for it

^^ This is true for NL. For FL this is an understatement. Your set'd need to be absolutely f*cking humongous.

I have 1,100 $1 chips for $4/$8 limit, and that's still way too little. 2,000 chips would be more in the vicinity of what I'd like to have to be able to host this game on a full table.

I may just buy a set of 2,000 $1 Paulson chips when I'm in Vegas next month. Any suggestions on where to buy these? Bellagio? Aria? MGM? Monte Carlo? Flamingo?

Man, my group only plays $0.25/0.25 (we typically don't even get $5 chips into play) and I ordered:

300 x $0.25
300 x $1
600 x $5
200 x $25
100 x $100

For my CPC order. Waaaay bigger than my game plays. I bet I will add on before even getting a rack of $5s into play. Seems like I'll need like $300 more $1s and maybe a couple more racks of $5s...

I started with 1000 chips in mind, like you, and 1000 is way more than my game needs right now, but this set is for the ages, right? :)

I probably won't ever play bigger than 1/2 or 1/3 NL and 2/4 Limit though.

They are for the future purposes, IF our games get bigger. On top of that I love those chips and just want to have them.

Even if I don't get $1's but only 400 now, I think it's enough, since I don't think our games go up to $4/8 anytime soon.

Yepp, it is for ages. Might add-on later, if needed. And the set is way much bigger I need now. But still, I love full racks and big sets. Now I get both :)
