One more idea would be to scrap the T25k and replace the colors from that chip to the T5k. That would give us a little room to play with the $1 chip colors.

Hey everyone. I've been doing my best to take everyone's input and incorporate it into this set, but with only ten colors available it is pretty difficult. However, I want to see this project come to life, and quite a few people have suggested lower denominations as well to incorporate a cash set. If that will help us meet our minimum then I'm all for it, so here is what I have at the moment. I have to keep colors the same if the combinations of base and edge spot colors are concerned because it wouldn't make sense to do otherwise and may result in PGI saying "no" to the whole thing.
I hope you guys like what I have. Constructive criticism is welcomed.

Only suggestion I have would be to reverse the colours on the 500 (lavender with white spot) and 25k (white with red spot).

I was hoping somebody besides me would like the white T500 with the lavender spots. I love me a white chip.
Quite possible there will be, but I suspect there will be a few people who will want both a T5 and T25,000, depending on circumstances. That would accommodate both. Or you could keep the white 500 and use a camel base and white spot for the T25,000 (a dark spot might get confused with the T1000?) or lavender with white spot for the T25000.

I think these colors lean towards a great Cali color cash set. Also maybe change up the spots for the “cash” set.

Instead of .25, just leave the pink chip non-denominated. That's likely to invite less scrutinythan a .25 amount, and also allows it to be used as a bounty chip on the tournament side.
Consider camel spots on the sky blue 5k rather than a repeated maroon spot. Conversely, consider a camel base for the 1 with sky blue spots.
If you go with camel spots on the 5k, that frees up the 25k to have a maroon base instead of red. Then you'd have no repeating base colors throughout the lineup.

I think we should focus on completing the tournament set and then once that’s settled we can move on to the cash set with progressive spots.

A lot of people, including myself, wanted to emulate the simplicity of the SDPM tournament set. For the cash denominations there will be progressive edge spots, but the tournament set needs to get finished before we move into the cash set.

If you were doing the /100 method then obviously:
5-25-100-500-2000-10000 --- .05-.25-$1-$5-$20-$100

Take heed any member reading this thread and on the fence on whether to participate. Do it! If not you chance huge regret when the chips arrive, you see how awesome the opportunity was and you have no order coming. I honestly would prefer to do the standard 25-100-500-1000-5000-25000 and then do .25-1-5-25-100 for the cash set. I know a lot of players (myself included) prefer a $20 chip in their cash set, but keeping the T25 stamp would keep us from adding on the cost of another die.

Are you planning on ordering the cash and tournament sets together or two separate orders?

I would like to place the order together to keep chip costs down.
Doing the sets separately is nine dies total. A 5-25-100-500-2000-10000 multipurpose set is just six, so that's three extra dies your way.
And since you're re-using chips (25, 100) across both sets, there's no extra security gained from doing them separately. Just sayin'.
If folks really want T1000, T5000, and T25000 chips for tourney, you can add those as extras to the 5-25-100-500-2000-10000 set. Still the same extra three stamps.

Okay. So, I'm going to start a voting thread shortly with some different set mock-ups and we're just going to have to decide on one because, as much as I'd like to, it's just not possible to please everyone. Please be on the look out for that soon!
No, but I have a custom 1/4-pie chip set design where each chip shares the 'standard' colors of the two denominations that could be used. Tourney colors on top/bottom, cash colors on left/right. But just one denomination (units or cents, respectively).

I've always LOVED this set from the National Heads-Up Championship. It would mean a switch from 314 to 312 spots, and we would have to move some chips around IE: the T100k for the T100, but what do you all think about doing something like this?

Or we could emulate the Caesar's Palace chips using 314 spots. I personally like the smaller spots better.
