Whelp, the Oilers are out and suddenly my I don’t care about hockey again until October.
Probably won’t watch many games now, but cheering for an underdog to take it all down. Buffalo seems like a good horse to get behind.

Plenty of room on the orange bandwagon. The Flyers haven't won the Cup since '76. I was about 16 months old. Good enough underdog story for ya?

Over the past 20 years, the Maple Leafs have won as many draft lotteries as playoff series.
Toronto has missed the playoffs twice and won the draft lottery both times. Meanwhile, Arizona missed the playoffs 18 times and has never won the lottery.

I get it. I wish one of those teams would have gotten the 1st. They've been bad for years. Toronto doesn't deserve the number 1. They miss the playoffs one year, their franchise is on fire from the Chyka signing, and they get rewarded with the first? Something ain't right dog.
I mean, how can you not cheer for the Sabres this year?

After watching last night's game they can sell the fucking franchise for all I care. Horrible performance, like one of the worst games I've watched since Dec 9th.

Yeah, it was something less than good. I don't know what Paul Hamilton, our local beat reporter thought when asking if he's playing hurt. Like "Yeah man, I'm all fucked up, everything hurts. Man, hockey is really hard."
