People couldn’t figure out that you could add the two boxes’ weight together to compare to total weight of shipped chips.
I find this to be one of your funnier jokes, alas I think it’ll be lost on most.
In my mind seller has the responsibility to make sure chips arrive in good order. @SpaceMonkey420 issue a refund. Have you offered this? If @doublebooyah85 gets money back I have no doubt he will offset your refund. Craig has shipped me THOUSANDS of chips with no issue.

If the package doesn't arrive, you have a pretty good case.
If it does arrive, but is damaged, it gets a lot dicier.
I haven't seen enough cases where it was a straight scam to know how those turn out.

It’s funny in Friday when Joi (Craig’s GF) is on the phone with him accusing him of cheating by going to the show all “hugged up with some tramp” she has some dude in the bed with her. Seems to fit the bill here.

The package was missing for 7+ days. I was curious if it broke open due to poor packaging. Whenever I send boxes that are this large and heavy I take a photo before sending them to ensure they were taped and package correctly for the buyer.
This is your only reply to the dozens of comments we have?

I come from the land of the "kangaroo court" but how this is being handled is wild to me. Im more alligned with @Moxie Mike 's approach but the majority here are all ready to burn @SpaceMonkey420 at the stake.
I want to go on the record and say that @doublebooyah85 is a zero chance of being the scammer here and is 100% the victim in this.
However Im not automatically in the @SpaceMonkey420 is the the scammer camp either. I can see how this could look "suspicious" to people on both sides of the fence but everyone here has been quick to judge because of their opinions of Mike rather than of complete and undeniable proof presented. We will probably never get that but IMHO judgement should be reserved for now until more information is gathered.
For the benefit of @SpaceMonkey420, as somone who hasnt automatically assumed your guilt, you should eliminate any thoughts that Craig is trying to scam you and his actions to date are that of a stand up chipper who has paid for chips he hasnt received and is trying to make sense of it all. If you are innocent of these accusations and this is indeed the result of something nefarious within USPS, you need to do everything possible on your end to try and make this right and communicate with @doublebooyah85.
This is a shitty situation and I hope it gets solved favourably for all parties involved.

I feel like you're hanging onto a thread that really isn't. How confused by him asking for half the money back, and that's a polite gesture on his part to try and split the cost of the lose. Very kind on his part. I'm gathering you refused that suggestion, which doesn't speak well for you. Then he tells you he's going after it through his CC and you feel abused, like he's trying to scam you, that's just ignorant. That is one of his avenues to be made whole again. You're trying to make an argument that he's scamming you, but I have no doubt that if you had agreed to give him half back, and, if the CC made him whole, or, an investigation proved you didn't scam him, that he would give you back your half when CC paid off. Things are starting to stack up against you.
It's not just that; who posts a genuine response about someone's displeasure? It's used 95% of the time in a condescending way, not to mention his post was around 9:30 where he posted screenshots from 6 pm, acting like it was his first response in his surprise of seeing the thread, after corresponding with Craig. As if the whole ordeal was a service, such as washing his boat, giving him a manicure, or a happy ending at the jackshack rather than something tangible that he had purchased. 'We are sorry for your displeasure, Thank you for being a valued customer.' Its not like this is a business entity selling to a consumer.
You sell something for 5k and its going sideways, you can make a few minutes to talk to the person, you don't make excuses. I bought something recently for thousands, and I was excited to receive it. The first thing I did was text the seller, who was excited for me and called me to make sure everything was in order.

Obviously most folks here are familiar with spacemonkey and, not sure how to describe it, but his previous kinda out there antics, erratic behavior, and wild posts.
It’s been brought up multiple times as a point of proof a bit, i.e. we wouldn’t be surprised by this being him/his fault.
But then, at the same time, we want to pull apart piece by piece his texts and posts now, trying to highlight word play, internal motivations by his delivery and omissions, etc. So, he’s off his rocker before, but now we’re going to pull apart every word.
You don’t get it both ways.
The other point - if this was two known, liked PCFers, posting this thread this early in the back and forth would’ve been looked poorly upon.
Craig has every right to be pissed and upset, and completely not happy with how it’s been handled so far. He’s (potentially) out 5k.
On the other side is another person. They could (potentially) be out 5k.
We’re acting like this has gone on now for two months. It seems like….most of this back and forth conversation was….today!?
Like 5k and paper was delivered. 1 guy is like wtf am I getting scammed, the other is like holy f*ck am I getting scammed. Obviously the person out the 5k now wants immediate answers, the other guy is like okay hold on give me a minute let me get my head on straight. And it’s been one day.
We have multiple pcfers going through bankruptcy, divorce, and more in part due to chipping. This guy is getting married shortly, doesn’t seem to chip here very often, has a full family. Is it insanity to think that maybe he’s simply not handling potentially losing thousands of dollars well?
I may be annoying cause all I do is joke in these threads, but it’s just crazy that all of PCF is perfect all the time.

I’m 12 quaaludes deep and thought I wrote a PM.
Really, the party doesn’t start until Spacemonkey doesn’t pay but shows up to a meetup 3 months later
What I’m really curious about is, what fuels the outrage?
Is it a well known chipper potentially getting f*cked over (“this could have been me! thoughts)?
Is it this “crazy” amount of $5k?
Because neither of those make much sense.
Maybe it’s just the absurdity of it all and 2 stacks of paper showing up. But that should lead to shock and uncomfortable laughter, not disdain and outrage.
Oh well.
