Saw a bottle of EC18 in the wild. Is $199 a decent price? And has anyone here tried it?
I paid $160 for mine. I think it is meh, I wouldn't buy it again
I tried it and loved it. I saw it in the wild for $169 and scooped it up. It's pretty low proof, but has great flavor. I really enjoyed it the first time I had it, then bought my bottle, and wasn't as impressed. Hopefully it opens up a little more with time and air.
One of the best shelfers available. 8.9.
I'm thinking 8.6 for me. It's not complex but it's simply delicious, best value age stated bottle on the shelf.

I didn’t like most Michter’s special releases for years. Shenk’s and Bomberger’s were good. But the rest were meh. Until the 10 yr bourbons and 10 yr ryes the last few years. Fucking delicious!
Michter's 10 year rye is the only bottle that retails over $150 that I would snap buy if I saw one. I love Michter's US-1 Rye, in spite of the very low proof, so I'm certain I will love the 10 year. I'm also on the lookout for the barrel strength rye.

Bombergers is delicious. I had two bottles and shared a pour with a friend. He loved it so I gifted the second bottle to him. I finished my bottle and now waiting to go to his house so I can finish my second bottle. Lol
First time seeing a Stagg on the shelf around here in..... well..... nearly forever. Came bundled with the Stranahan. Also took a flyer on the Copper & Cask, these guys do pretty interesting stuff and the cigar blend had me intrigued.
My New Year's resolution was to spend less on whiskey this year. I figured dry Jan/Feb would help. Looked at my log and I've already spent close to $800...alas.

I’ve tracked every dollar earned and spent in Microsoft Money since 2001. I could run a lifetime report on my expenditures on guns, whiskey, and poker chips. But I am nervous to do so.
Before we got married in 2005, my wife asked if I tracked what I spent on her. Let’s just say the reporting I provided and how I used it was a relationship issue it took a minute to navigate. 20 years later I still track that data.
Yes, that program was sunset by Microsoft in 2009.
Yes, I have it installed on a new laptop, thanks to a bootleg version I found on the way back machine.
I have no idea what is wrong me. I guess it’s my way of keeping a journal.
