TRK set pricing? (1 Viewer)

I think $4/chip is ambitious. If it had better colors than just plain primary then maybe. Primary solid sets have trouble selling for $1.50/chip. And the spots are very interesting. Just 4d14, most basic TRK spots. If it had cool colors and cool spots then $4-6/chip but as is $2.50 seems more reasonable. But then again you never know with some of these people
I’m new to the spot naming but isn’t that 414 not 4D14?

414 it is, TRK 414 that is.

for those who aren't a fan of the inlay its seems like a huge headache to relabel these "leaded?" trks. ill help everyone out and throw my hat in the ring for a set as is so people don't have to wonder what could be

Does it seem like a project that he'd want to take on though? 17,000 chips? To me it doesn't make sense
Lol, he’s got people for that

I’m just funning around, I have no idea if Krish would even be interested in solids. But it’s a chance to get an incredibly large, uniform in colors, high stakes chipset, say starting at $100’s and going up.

What solids? These are spotted, no?
Very much so spotted.

I was just saying I don't think Krish would have the time to deal with something like this even at how unique of an opportunity it would be to have 17,000 almost brand new TRKs to have in inventory. It would be so nice to have them, play with them and so on. Just don't think it's worth the time. I would expect the denoms to have to be higher too considering some of the games he's played and continues to play in.

Nothing ever makes sense here on PCF, usually the more bizarre tends to be the norm

Um, hahaha. I just saw this thread because @ekricket tagged me in it. I didn’t even know this sale was going on.

I have exactly two racks of those $5s that @TRKingChips sold me over 18 months ago. I absolutely hate them. They feel light, cheap and the inlay is hideous.

Rest easy that it wasn’t me. I think this was most likely someone who is in the resale business, and they should appear for sale pretty soon in sets.

For those considering purchasing these chips when they hit the market, here are the individual weights of each chip in my sample set. These weights only represent the chips in my sample set so I cannot speak for the weights of these 17,000 chips.

vs. modern Paulson inlays, how much more work would it really be to re-label these chips?

WOW...11.29 on the $500!!! I'm in for 2 racks!! 20mins per chip x 200....uhhhhh...I'm gonna need a shit ton of fireball for this project....LOL!!

What exactly is the problem with these chips? The inlay is clean and simple, with a large denomination in red. Is it the phone number people hate? I don’t see anyone complaining about the inlay on Oceanside Card Club.
I actually dig the inlay, for exactly the reasons you stated.
