My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (34 Viewers)

We have :ad::ah::6c::3h: on a flop of :jh::4h::3s:

Pot for 100, two callers

Turn :6d:

We pot for 400, guy shoves for 850 total. We call, he only runs once

River :8d:

He has :9s::9h::5d::2s: lol

We raise :as::ac::3c::3d: but on a flop of :qh::jd::6h: we have to let it go facing significant action (pot and repot)

Both guys whiff their draws, we would've hit an Ace turn to triple

Next hand dealt :ks::ts::td::7d: we pot over a LAGS raise with the $330 left in front of us, two callers

Flop :tc::6s::5c:

They get it in and go twice

First board :2h::jc:
Second board :5d::4h:

One has a flush but our full wins the other half

We call a 35 raise with :as::qs::6h::5c:

Flop is :ad::5c::4h:

We pot for 140, one caller

Turn :qc:

He checks, we pot all-in for 315. He thinls for awhile but eventually calls and goes twice

First board :2h:
Second board :3s:

He has :th::7c::7s::6c: and sneaks away with half

I get it in against these two fucking retards for 525 pre (idiot with T984 raised button and repotted after I limp repotted) and one makes 10's and 4's and the other a set of 10's after the board comes

Stuck 1500. Just buying in for 500 to spin it up and pit these bigger stacks against each other

We restraddle the button to 40 with 430 in our stack and are dealt

:qs::qd::8d::7s:

We get it in and are against KK32 and 3457

First flop is 466 giving us the only flush draw but we lose both boards, REBUY!

We limp :jc::js::9h::8h: and mr T984 button raise pots on the button, bunch of callers, we repot to 330 or something

He repots to iso and runs once. He flips over :ad::ac: but I let him know that shit ain't good and turn over my hand

Flop :7h::7s::4h:

Ok, some possibilities. Turn :jh: FUCK UR MOTHER BITCH!

River :6c:

We more than double but are still stuck. But seriously, fuck these guys!

Lol, we limp :ac::as::ks::4d:

Flop :js::ts::7c:

Checked to button who bets, I call, drooler on my left calls

Turn :7s:

Checked around

River :4s:

We check to drooler who bets 125, button folds, we call. He announces full house and turns over

:jh::9h::4h::4c:

Just rivers the case 4 to sneak away with it lol. This is becoming a fucking running gag at this point

Geesh, mr 2335 ds raises to 35 utg, we call with A456 ds

Flop 369 rainbow, he bets we pot, doofus with TT98 calls both our all-ins with a gutshot

They both chop me up with sets

We straddle button to 20 and get to rip it pre with :kh::kc::6c::5s: for 500 total four ways

Flop :ts::7h::3h:

The rest of them get it in

Mr T984 has 8765 with hearts and scoops it

Stuck 3k now

Why are you straddling at all? If you are the better player than all of them you should be wanting to keep stacks deeper not shorter so that you can exploit their mistakes. None of the other hands have less than 20-25% equity preflop. You are playing scratch off lotto poker like the rest of them at this point.

You think that is a good starting hand?

How is it not on a short-stack? Pair plus flush draw and the 56 are coordinated with one another

I'm only straddling in position, and not everytime.

These guys are deeper stacked and regularly straddling to 40 or 80 preflop, so the game plays much bigger

If I buyin bigger I'm still not going to be deepstacked given the straddles, so I'll wind up call-folding and bleeding chips too much

Because they are all deeper-stacked and making the game play bigger the counter is Rolf Slotbooms strategy

We buyin short and rip it pre when we have strong/coordinated hands

There is a possibility someone isolates and we only have to face one hand with dead money in the pot

Alternatively we get multiple deepstacked callers, allowing us an opportunity to 3-5x our stack

Plus post-flop one of the deepstacks may push the others off their hands. Now we not only get a shot at 3-5xing our stack, but we only have to beat one hand at showdown

The swings go up because while you always realize your equity, your opponents do as well

But getting in a spot where if you even have 33% equity post-flop and can 4x your stack it's long-term profitable

Why does position matter if you are shoving your stack in preflop?

I'm not shoving everytime I straddled, it's hand strength dependent. Sometimes I may check my option and see a flop with position

KK65 suited rates to be better than a lot of the trash these guys are calling with

Likewise a double suited rundown, etc are all candidates to rip it in those spots

The 5/5/10 breaks. We get a seat in the 10/10/25 but the guy who got us there with 22% last time is just leaving (with only 900 left) and that game breaks before I get dealt in

We manage to get a seat in the 2/2/5, gl us!

UTG raises to 20, one caller, we raise :ac::ad::kd::6c: to 90

They both call, flop is :js::9s::2s:

Original raiser checks, other caller does the "I guess I pot?" move, we make the obvious fold

We have :ac::ks::4c::3s: and see a flop of

:ah::kh::6d:

We call a bet, multiway to turn :3d:

Shorty shoves, we repot to 800 to isolate, guy with 3k in front of him repots, we call off and go twice

He has :qh::jh::th::6h:

She has :ad::qd:xx

First river :8c:
Second river :9h:

We chop her up

Sounds like a hell of a game Anthony. Keep swinging for that hole in one! What is the worse that can happen?
