We just watched them again.Oh man. It may time for a rewatch of Cheers. So good.
I was bornin 1980....... so experienced the best of cartoon morning television...... I never once saw the show called "wheeled warriors". Perhaps it was not in the network in Ontario Canada? Looks like I missed out, the tunes are awesome.and honorable mention:
I watch 'saturday morning cartoons' with my daughter sometimes and it's really amazing to see a lot of these shows kinda coming back with new art, new music, but the same characters and the same story lines.I was bornin 1980....... so experienced the best of cartoon morning television...... I recently binged the Jeffersons. I never once skipped through the theme song. It's very good.1) M*A*S*H
Only Alan Alda and Larry Gelbart can get away with making a show about soldiers and have the theme song be “Suicide is Painless.” Most technically sound sitcom ever and a great theme song.
2) The Sopranos
The show is about a mafioso in clinical therapy, and the first line of the theme is “woke up this morning, found myself a gun.” It also slaps.
3) The Jeffersons
Sherman Hemsley was one of the funniest people ever and the theme song to The Jeffersons in an all-time hit. The show is also incredibly important as a historical artifact: just like All in the Family, which The Jeffersons was a spin-off of, the show did a lot of good in the world of race relations.
I loved this cartoon and theme, then it disappeared one day without warning. While reminiscing one day, my brother not only didn't remember it but thought I was making it up! I'm still very much into 80s synth pop thanks to this song lolI was bornin 1980....... so experienced the best of cartoon morning television...... I never once saw the show called "wheeled warriors". Wow, I used to love this cartoon. I had some of these toys too. You could interchange all the parts. Like a Mr Potato head for vehicles.I was bornin 1980....... so experienced the best of cartoon morning television...... I never once saw the show called "wheeled warriors".
