Went rollerskating tonight to a new rink. Bit smaller than the rink I had been using, but the floor had a nicer surface, staff was a million times better and so were the customers, plus the pricing was also better.
The previous rink I was skating at I went on a Friday night and the DJ played mumble rap.........that's it, that's ALL he played, ALL fucking night. I requested a song earlier in the night before the main DJ was in the booth and the guy there played it the very next song. But when captain mumble rap was in the booth an hour and a half passed, I inquired about my song and he told me it was "added to the list" and tried to claim he had zero control over when the song would come up (yet he's able to manually do a fast skate and play Bodies by Drowning Pool........which is the ONLY song they ever play for the fast skate every week)
Kids were running around full speed off the skate floor, wrestling each other, dragging buddies off the skate floor over the wall onto the carpet, kids skating while texting, staff was next to useless as there were no consequences for the out of control crotch goblins.
My old rink used to be good, but new staff and a new crowd has brought it into the dumps, so glad I found a new rink to skate at.
Aside from that, back at it Thurs/Fri/Sat afternoons at the Hard Rock Tampa for some PLO action. Heard from a guy who has an open spot on Sundays for D&D so didn't want to play the tourney and make Day 2 and have to cancel on my first day invited to this new group.

There's actually four rinks within 25-30 minute drives of me, in different directions. I recently got word that the 2nd gym I joined is also closing, and going to the gym bores the absolute fuck out of me. I enjoy an activity like skating, laser tag, paintball, etc. for exercise, and I certainly need it. So trying to make it a regular thing

Villain was lighting money on fire there. Unless he had the King of Diamonds, that river counterfeited a lot of his range, and if he did have it, he'd have bet more. Really perplexing play by villain to downbet that river out of position.I hold
