Correct. It always baffles me how smart this member group is. Good eye! I don’t think I’m derailing this too much because it was my last purchase. The story behind how I got these chips is super cool. I can’t wait to share the chips and full details with all My fellow members here. A true harvest special! This cruise casino ship was bought at auction In Florida by a biliionaire. After a $1 million dock construction is made in Tennessee, the boat actually never makes it. The ship sunk while being towed from Florida. We’re talking sinks in the middle of a river in NOWHERE Tennessee. Very remote back woods. So remote even the slot machines are unsalvageable. It’s several hours by any boat. Eventually The two diesel engines were salvaged (each valued at about 150,000) and I’m told they were towed away by a helicopter (not confirmed) but The engines are 100% gone. Most of the slots are still there to this day under water. Now the good part. The chips!!! Well they were buried on the bottom area of three floors, inside a huge metal vaulted “room”. Well im happy to announce the chips were saved! Oh ya they were UNDER WATER but... Located in a sealed air pocket (in the vault about 25 feet under the flowing river water) and Harvested by a local fisherman/swimmer who got SUPER lucky and eventually contacts me for help. They were under the water for several years but never actually IN water as the vault held a massive air pocket inside and all the chips on the shelves were saved. Lots new ones in the factory boxes. Two or three casinos owners “worth”. I really can’t say how many chips there are yet because they are being sorted and counted and cleaned. For the ones not in boxes my partner actually had to use 5 gallon buckets for bringing them up three stories. So far all we have found are RHC and Chipcos as shown on chip guide. I will be putting sets together for this family man He’s recently lost his job... HOPE U ENJOY TKS FOR READING!!!!

Yeessss! I've gone overboard this year with fishing gear but planning to use this as a slightly heavier lure rod. Maybe 30 lb braid (my ligher setups have either 15 or 20 pound braid). I want to do a jetty trip before EOY so want the extra strength to pull fish away from the rocks.
20 should do the trick... but depends on the rocks!! Around here they are jagged and you would want the extra poundage to help provide some abrasion resistance! Either way, sweet set up!!
20 lb braid did great pulling in that 34" redfish. Had it with a Daiwa BG 3000 and a 7' Fenwick HMG Inshore medium rod. Agreed, the rocks can do a number on your line so a little heavier should last a bit longer.
Weather permitting, we're going to try to do a charter offshore trip later this month.
Dayumn that first one is a hammer!! I will have to find some photos. A few years back we were down in NC in Atlantic beach (my favorite place on eart to fish!) We went out with the local legend, flounder fishing bottom bumping with gulp alive baits... my cousin caught a 46" redfish, i caught a 48". The captian said its average to hear about one or 2 of these monsters caught around there each season but never 2 in one day!!
Ben, I believe you must be a lucky fishing charm. I've been wanting a large flounder or sheepshead (for dinner purposes lol). I've read that down here sheepshead fishing is best right after winter but with a little luck we can catch them around this time too. Fishing a long the jetties should catch some. I haven't seen a 10 pound sheepshead! Wow!

They get much bigger than 10 pounds! Lol but for us its lazy fishing... heavy weight rod under the bridge supports... in line slip sinker... #6 heavy circle hook through a fiddler crab... drop down to about 6 ft of water... wait about a minute... drop 2 feet and repeat! Hold on to the rod, if you get a bite they have a habit of pulling rods out of your hands! It is a hard hard hit!!!
Thanks! I have a similar rack to yours on my porch, but only 1/4 the size of yours, so it's more just to keep wood close at hand.
