Official Fit Competition (Sept 7 - Nov 30) (5 Viewers)

@BarrieJ3 are we going to be able to see where we stack up at regular intervals? Even if anonymized, i wouldn’t mind seeing where I rank. For that extra competition push

It’s a 12-week comp so either every 3 weeks (9/28, 10/19, 11/9) or every 4 weeks (10/5, 11/2) works out nice
I'm gonna ask everyone to jump back on here by this weekend. See how fast and slow folks have started. See how many of us have.....gone up :banghead:

And then yeah, as soon as I can edit posts for this thread, we'll throw regular updates in one of the first 3 posts.

Oh I can edit now. Yeah I'll put those up. And stop being so excited damnit. Soon as we move I'll catch your ass!

Working on a THC 1 to replace the RHC one there.

The realtor didn’t leave keys and locked us out of the house, when we got in they had set the alarm so that went off for awhile. No fridge so delivery food. Guy accidentally spilled milk, but luckily he spilled one in every bag so all food was wet

Our shipping container was delayed from 10 am, to 1, to 5, to 8. This is how our house looks now, but supposedly they’ll be here at 11:30 tonight to start offloading furniture.

Ah, and we got to listen in on tonight’s board meeting online. Neighborhood is over $150k in arrears, and is currently in lawsuit with the 3 surrounding neighborhoods.

Control what you can! I’ve made the mistake of going back to bad habits and quick food during this bs last couple of days, but that doesn’t help anything. We’re heading into our first weekend where everyone has started, be well! Hopefully we can get some folks weighed in this weekend, I’ll post current progress on Sunday.

Hopefully folks are figuring out a rhythm, some better foods or exercise or what works for you. Two weeks in we’ll get two group PMs going for folks to share experiences, what’s working, what’s not.

I knew I should have joined this competition, I'm already down 20lbs in the last two weeks.

Mind you it took a sigmoid colon resection surgery, but everyone has their methods  :ROFLMAO:

Edit - I did not have weightless surgery - I had a section of my colon removed due to diverticulitis.

I'm pretty sure there's something in the rules that says weight lost due to surgery doesn't count. :whistling:

I can assure you it was not weight loss surgery  :ROFLMAO: there is not way I'd give up drinking beers this long by choice :dead:

I’ve been lifting again recently, and it might not be too much for some of you out there, but I benched 205, strict shoulder pressed 150, and front squatted 230 this week!

Ramping up into decent shape again!
Some pretty decent numbers, congrats.

I'm back in the gym today after a 2 week campervan trip. Let myself binge and put on 4lbs haha.

Back on it 100% now though. To say I'm excited would be an understatement.

Happy to set up a separate group pm chat for any of you that are starting a primarily weight lifting program. Might be handy to discuss how things are going or for any program/lifting/technique tips and shared thoughts. I do a similar thing with a couple of mates and it's great for motivation.

I’m back in my gym 4-5x a week now, already shredded 5lbs of fat off and striving for 10%BF or lower. My Macros are on track and hitting it hard!!!! Stoked I started, I even got my gf on macros and she’s down 7lbs in 2 weeks and eating somewhat descent foods

Hitting legs as I type this... doing squats, front bar squats, lunges and some ab workout

Basically the same as me. 5 days a week on the Layne Norton phat program for now. 10% is the goal. Probably sitting at about 17% right now though.

Skipping the macros this time around (at least for the first 6 weeks or so) since I've done the whole food weighing process for ages, so I roughly know where I'm at and until i get down a few more kgs there is no need.

Focussing on eating clean and avoiding pizza and chocolate lol

Yeah I’m doing the macros to help my gf out I am very ocd and I get really ocd and detail about what I do. I’m just glad I can still eat some burgers fries and still maintain my macros it’s the best about that program

Anyone else's weigh-in link not work most of the time? Like you submit the data but it doesn't update the spreadsheet?

Weekly weigh-in day for me: 373.6. That's +1.3 from last week, -5.5 since the start.

What I did well:
- Journaled and stayed below my daily targets 6 of 7 days.
- Largely stayed away from sugars and high-carb foods, ate more veggies and cleaner proteins.

What I didn't do well:
- Went overboard on Saturday date night (carbs and calories), and I'm still seeing the effects of that today.
- Didn't follow through on my plan of getting a couple days of aerobic in this week.

I'm not that worried about my gain this week. Because of my size, daily fluctuations of +- 5 pounds are not uncommon, and while I did overindulge on Saturday, I had a good week overall and saw the 360s Friday morning when I stepped on the scale.

I didn't get the aerobic in that I wanted, but I did manage to clean up the mancave so that I now have a spot to set up the treadmill and leave it set up. That should make it harder to come up with an excuse.

This week is going to be a challenge with Minnemania. Any travel, especially a poker meetup, is a real challenge to eat right and get any exercise. My goal is to be more mindful of my eating Wed-Fri and constrain crazy eating to Saturday only. If I end this week where I started, I'm declaring victory - any loss is a bonus.

This morning was 254 lbs... hard week at work, but did not get my lazy ass on the bike. Still down from 278 and definitely feel the difference. Been very strict on the diet other than last Friday Ms. Brie wanted popeyes which is our weekly splurge. Only had 3 tenders and a small fry... it was delicious but still feel guilty as hell! Was very good the rest of the weekend!

@timinater , I think @Mac128k and @UnicornFlash are tied to my data in the overall rankings. They both matched me exactly after my second weigh-in, and changed to match me perfectly again right after I added an update today.

Hey, if you lose the highest percentage and also the most weight, fine by me.

I entered my data but I can't see everyone else... must take some time to update.. mine still shows my original weight
