Official Fit Competition (Sept 7 - Nov 30) (2 Viewers)

I haven't been chipping for very long, and I'm a low budget purchaser, so I don't really have anything cool or interesting to offer up to the group. Also, I have zero chance of winning anything since my goal is only 10-15 pounds. So the only thing slightly interesting and unique that I have to offer is a sample set from my Cards mold group buy that is currently being produced. Hopefully I will have these in hand by the time the competition ends. Or if not, soon thereafter.

These are pretty low value, so I was thinking I would kick in 3 sets, instead of just one. @BarrieJ3 would that totally mess up your prize distribution plan to have 2 extra prizes?

Here is what my set is going to look like:

Love the design! I'll throw these in the prize pool!

I had sent my bounty pic to @BarrieJ3 but seeing that he’s having issues editing posts, I’ll throw it in here...

Like @TX_Golf_N_Poker, I too am pretty new. Don’t collect samples. Don’t have odds and ends. Don’t have much variety. So my bounty has to do with my one chippingtrue love...Starbursts!!!

A few are overstamps. I’ll be trying to remedy that by final weigh-in time. I also may add some other barrels if I can find them...either to sweeten the pot or allow a winner’s choice.

The one thing I can promise though...anything I add will be Starbursts!!!

Very nice @Frogzilla! I started jogging again this past week, will be adding time on the bike this coming week. I’m primarily biking on trails though. Do you MTB too or just Road?

Just roads. And usually in the neighborhood. Sunday morning is the only time I brave it in traffic

I don't think the contest requires anything but start and end, but I plan to weigh in weekly on Mondays.

This week was good. I journaled every day with MFP, stayed (way) under my daily targets, and have already dropped several pounds from my starting weight. Some of that is water loss since I've been eating fewer carbs, some of it is just having less food moving through my digestive system, and some of it is "real" weight loss.

I intentionally focused on diet only for week 1. Starting tomorrow I'll be adding aerobic - hard walking/light running at least 30 minutes 3x per week.

Just woke up from a haze and realized I wasn’t watching this group chat and figured folks were working in silence. :ROFLMAO:

Had a rough opening week. Drove 17 hours each way home to New Mexico and came home with authentic food from my mama. Due to fires here in Fresno working out will he limited for the month so I’m gonna have to start this diet style! I’m up a couple pounds but dove in yesterday laying out my meals and snacks for the week.

Good luck to everyone!!

After week 1, I'm down 6.6 pounds.

Tip of the week - HYDRATE! I felt like crap yesterday morning, and when I stepped on the scale I was down about 10 pounds. I've been getting rid of a lot of water this week and haven't been drinking enough the past couple of days, hence the too-high loss.

Over the course of the day I drank more than a gallon, and it made a world of difference.

So my start weight was 2 weeks ago that was when I took the 278 pound pic, I started dieting then. But I didn't start exercise till this past week when everyone said start. This morning on the scale 259 pounds, feels great but a long ways to go!!

Brie will tell you I bought these britches right before vacation 3 weeks ago and they were snug! Size 40s, easily back loose in 38s now. The gut is still there but already people saying wow man you look great!!

Don't ask for advice I do shock diets. Less than 800 calories a day intake. In 07 I lost 86 pounds in 90 days. Basically replace food with mostly water. (2 packs of oatmeal for breakfast, a piece of fruit for lunch, can of unsalted green beans or steamed veggies, 4 oz brown rice and about 4 oz protein for dinner)

I have been told 1000 times that's not healthy... it works for me, kept the weight off for years but it slowly sneaks back up!! I was about 220 when I met Brie 3 years ago.

Mmmm look the them underbritches ;)

I've been working on things since the world shut down in march when I was 340 and was down 30lbs or so so when we started this I was tipping the scale around 310. When I weighed in after a 'rough weekend' at 312 and got to work.

What I do is track my weight every morning in myfitnesspal and go from there so it is easy to just transcribe that into the worksheet from tim.

I've been exercising every day since march basically and been better on my diet but this is really giving me extra motivation to work on the diet more and not cut corners from time to time. I'm not overly competitive but I really don't want to lose my ante so that is my main motivation. Some interesting things being offered for sure, but really don't want to lose my ante.

Wow awesome job to several folks! I'm going to weigh in on Friday, see how poorly it's gone. I've not had a great start, really just not pounding deserts and starting to run when I can. Between being 3 months from launching our company, watching my kids all day every day, and trying to get in this damn house, it's been all stress and 0 time.

We move in Thursday, I'll immediately have TRX setup in the garage, I'll finally have the running stroller and my bike back, and an actual kitchen with our goods. Already playing catchup, but looking to hit it hard. Great job to those starting strong!

Today was my first day adding any kind of exercise, I’ve mainly just watch what I eat during the day, Dinners have always been delicious and Healthy

@BarrieJ3 are we going to be able to see where we stack up at regular intervals? Even if anonymized, i wouldn’t mind seeing where I rank. For that extra competition push

It’s a 12-week comp so either every 3 weeks (9/28, 10/19, 11/9) or every 4 weeks (10/5, 11/2) works out nice
