I've gotten lots of people pointing out specific lines that really cracked them up, so figured we'd put it to a vote and see which line was the favorite, THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE! (a tie means the Commies win)

The mexican jumping bean line was originally me calling him a bunny hopper. But feedback during development is that my hillbilly character wouldn't be familiar with most gaming terms, and "jumping bean" would fit him better

I added the "Mexican" part because I felt it fit his character. He is super right-wing and calls out Commies, Chinese hackers, says we need to build a wall because of Canada, etc

No one is safe from him

That being said, I'm unfamiliar with jumping beans that aren't Mexican and don't see how that is a "racist" statement in the context it was used?

It was my private input that made him insert this comment.

Got damn and jiminey crickets makes sense to the character, fuck bombs and such feel cheap. Taste freedom commie bastards works, but something like fucking bunny hoppers doesnt - I don't need or even want to know that this character understands the lingo. Instead, I want to hear the hilljacks frustration. Whether that's you yelling at the jumping beans to hold still, or confusion as to why they're jumping around, or whatever.

If you spend any time playing online or watching streamers, actual racist and anti everything semantics has a big draw. It's often in the form of cringe views followed by a quick ban. Someone is going to be offended by Splat Lives Matter. There's going to be a lot more people are offended by. I don't think any aspect of what Martino is doing is based on shock value or cringe, I'd say for character comedy in this direction it is purposefully tame.
