One of my biggest regrets was not buying these empress chips when I first started chipping.

I waited for Grand Vic, and bought my first set. (Roulettes) I would love a little empress in my life!!

New job update:

It's 8:30 AM and I have already been fired for "gross incompetence" whatever that means!

Less than 12 hours left to enter the contest. I currently have 745 entries among 108 people.

It sincerely concerns me about the reputation I have created on here when a joke about me getting fired for incompetence immediately the first morning of my new job was so plausible to people that they believed it...

Anyways, three hours left!

My favorite thing in video games are side missions in which you slowly find journal entries around a haunted house or castle or prison that documents someone's slow descent into madness. I make notes like that on documents I keep sometimes, even when they are just for me, as a recurring inside joke with myself.

That's what the Singapore joke is.

(Only the chips on the far right are for sale in this thread)

Note: For those unaware, the Virginia governor has issued a stay at home order. I am not 100% sure if the post office will continue to let customers inside and when I will be able to ship to the winner. In the case that I am unable to ship the chips for awhile, I will not ask for payment until it is confirmed that I will be able to get the chips shipped.

That literally happened to me. Left work on Fri. Had a nice weekend off with the girlfriend. But I got some weird feeling in my head that I was going to be fired. Like literally nothing I did that day on Fri that I was aware of - I just had this strange feeling. Went in early to chat with some co-workers before starting my shift and sure enough they gave me this look and told me I had to go to HR. They made me sign a bunch of documents and offered me a position in groundskeeping. I said fuck no (nicely).
