Heading north today in Wyoming. Going on a hike. Basically a bunch of driving because nothing is close out here lol.

So far have seen a couple animals.

Not much to see on the way. Super flat.

How far north/west are you headed? There’s an amazing scenic drive called Beartooth Highway, just east of Yellowstone. Rte 212 northeast toward Red Lodge, MT. Considered the most scenic drives in the country, it will not disappoint (definitely not flat!)

I did this drive this summer and I agree it is AMAZING, but that's pretty far from where he is now...

True, wasn’t sure if Yellowstone was in the plan...
Those 80mph speed limits can make the trip faster, though!

What. A. Day.

Ton of driving but wow did I see some awesome stuff and had so much fun.

Started off driving north to Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest which had a ton to see and do there. I need to do some more research because it was 40+ mph winds and 60 outside at 11,000ft. I was in shorts lol.

This moment made my entire trip! I saw two bull moose out in the wild today! I have been to Maine and didn’t see any there and I was bummed. Got to see them up close today!

Not going that far north. I did a whole Yellowstone trip separately a couple years ago. It was beautiful. Did all the things you are talking about!

Back into Colorado! I am at Estes up in the Rocky Mountains. This place is stunning. Found a mountain coaster and it is nuts. Went on it 3 times lol.
