I was having a table made about 10 years ago and the guy flakes out on me? He had everything completed except wrapping the rail. It’s a 60” round table. Then life got in the way and I put it in a storage shed. I’m not much on the handy side. Has anyone ever taken the rail to have done by an upholsterer? Is that something they would do? I have the foam and whisper vinyl?

Also, I had tacks around the edge of the table (looks like .45 shells) for decoration. A few of them have started to rust being in a shed. Does anyone know where I can order replacements?

I used to work at an auto upholstery shop and we took in all kind of different projects not car related so I'm sure they would. They have the tools and skills to do it

Nail heads: https://www.yourautotrim.com/denahe.html

And yes an upholsterer should be able to wrap a rail for you.

I was looking at them. This where I ordered my wrap and cloth from. I probably ordered the nail heads from them too. I don’t see any .45’s though. I guess I could go with a .44 nail and no one would probably notice. Or I could just go thru and make it every other one.

Thanks for info
