Noob question, is Paulson still producing? Who are the runner-ups?

I see a lot a ceramics now taking place.

Matsui kinda sound like dream chips, but sounds like their production can’t handle the everyday customers. Neither could Paulson really in recent years.

Just curious, CPC seems like a great choice but once again, Idk if they could handle all of that and how long their chips last...

I know you fellas have way more knowledge on this correct me if I’m wrong on anything, I’ll happily make the edits

<<< Yes, but not for individuals, only licensed casinos. They go by GPI.

<<< Yes, popular, easy to manufacturer, very sturdy.

<<< You can order from them as an individual but the MoQ and 'set up' fees can by pretty high. Same for Abbiati another manufacturer of 'plastic' chips.

<<< Only maker of 'clay' chips that sells to the public. They are active here on the forums as a vendor. They are fully customizable. You wouldn't play with them enough to put 'wear and tear' on the chips. Nor could your kids. They cost, they have a long lead time to get made, and the colors available are not the same as Paulson.

I've got this, guys.

I feel stupid even bringing this up, because I know the answer has to be "yes," but: has PCF investigated just how many chips they would have to buy to get GPI to think of them as if they were a casino?

Or is it not just a volume thing, but a security thing, where Paulson agreed with the casinos not to sell to the public anymore? Because otherwise, it seems completely at odds with the spirit of capitalism for them to be squandering their status as far and away the most desired brand.

I’m pretty new here, but this has been talked about a lot here. And can get hot.

It appears to be a security concern. There are people who have had existing relationships with them from the times when they did sell to the public who keep that conversation alive and continue to inquire. The lack of availability isn't for lack of trying.

Paulson still makes chips for individuals.. but first you have to convince them you are not an individual. ;)

ES
AS
Ba-Cawk
Pooping Parrot
BTP
SB
..and the list goes on
To be clear, Paulson made the coops, btp, hq, and Truman through a card room promotion. They had full knowledge of what was going on and we’re not misled. They then went through a merger and ended that practice.

You need a gaming license. They will not even sell to licensed charity card rooms any more.
