For some reason I can't edit my OP to update the list. No edit button/link now.

Updated list. Let me know if I have missed anyone.
  1. DoubleEagle - Thur.
  2. @kmccormick100 - Sat.
  3. @Perthmike (at WSOP on May 28 but not in Big 50)
  4. @Matt G - Sun. ?
  5. @ekricket + wifey - Thurs. ?
I'll be in town from about May 25th until June 9th, more or less (driving from Texas).
I haven't started planning tournaments, but will probably play some non-NLHE events around town. OK, maybe one or two NLHE events. Staying out near the Red Rock Casino.

I feel like we need a pcf cash game whilst the big 50 is on.

Harvested live Vegas chips to be used. That or try to get a table opened in a casino and play
We can probably get a table openend at The Flamingo or Harrah’s pretty easily, their rooms are big enough but rarely spread more than a few tables. Something like a $1/2 hold em & $1/1 PLO mix would be fun, or a limit horse game or something! I can email a couple poker room managers.

$1/$1 is big enough to get a custom VIP paulson set ordered through the flamingo poker room right? :ROFLMAO:

In all seriousness, a mini pcf Vegas game would be amazing.

Planning out work trips and it looks like I’ll be there 31st-2nd, I don’t know if I’ll be able to swing actually playing a tourney considering I’m there to do work ..Big50 looks very tempting though.

If somebody wants to organize a MUG, you can count me as a body.

This would never work. Within an hour there would less than a rack of Flamingoes left on the table and the dealer would be like WTF happened to all the chips? :D

Does anyone feel brave enough to hazard a guess at the potential payout range for the start of day 3?

Payouts start on day 2. I’ve been looking at the payouts from the Colossus last year, which has a similar prize pool and entries, but the structure of the 50 is a lot deeper. Day 1 of Colossus had 5k starting stacks with 5k bb at the final level 18 of the day, day2 of Big 50 final level will have BB of 25k when starting stacks were 50k. Roughly 4.5% advanced to day 2 Colossus, with a day 2 min cash being about $2500. Looks like advancing to day 3 of the Big50 will be about the equivalent, I’d guess with payouts in the $2-3k range.

At the meetings/auditions at the Rio they told us they expect the Big 50 to be far larger than the first year of the Colossus.
