I often see people cross post or post something that doesn't belong in the Classifieds because they think it will get more exposure. I've always said that is not the case and those threads and posts get removed anyway. All new threads and posts are shown on the New Posts page and Forum Home page sidebar. Here is a snapshot of the last 30 days.

The forum index and new posts page are #1 and #2.

/whats-new/ = New Posts Page

Just create a thread with a good title for what you are posting and it will be seen. No need to go out of your way to not follow the site guidelines.

PMs first (usually zero, so that goes pretty quickly) then the "alerts" bell. If all that gets emptied out, I go to new posts.

I realize this method allows a lot of stuff to sneak by me, but it keeps me entertained.

I used to get emails from new classifieds, but I turned it off two weeks ago. I go to what's new mostly.

I have notifications on for some of the vendors and the strategy section now.
