I'm working on a data visualizations project, and thought it would be fun (and potentially valuable) to create an interactive, community based chip pricing guide. I will be creating a public Tableau dashboard that will take all of the given data here as inputs, and will allow the user to select which chip sets they want to see the value of. Obviously, this isn't going to define the market, nor is intended to. But you will be able to see the median chip prices and a statistical distribution of what the community thinks the prices are worth for all sets in the database.

I would like to keep this thread updated over time, so as to become a useful tool. It's going to depend on how much data we get though. I hope to be able to also provide a tool to allow the user to manually enter data, but that would likely come later. Until that day comes, if you'd like to participate, then please enter your chip prices in the follow format. It would be really valuable if each sale gets added to the thread. I will also be entering data from eBay sales as the tool evolves.

Note: To make the data as accurate as possible, please try to enter how much you'd be willing to pay for the sets you are submitting. Try to be as realistic as possible.

Duplicate entries are encouraged. The more data points we have, the better. Disagreements are also encouraged. If one person would pay $300 for a rack, and someone else would only pay $150 for it, the database will want to know that.

Thanks guys, I've added those to the database. I've entered about 100 sales from eBay too, and grabbing some sales from the Classifieds here as well.

Probably difficult to really say definitively due to availability (or lack thereof), but I know for certain that there were attempts to buy at a price well higher than $1800 and there were no willing sellers at the higher price.

I based that off the best eBay price I've had in the last 3 months. The average before shipping was 18-22. Not sure what it would take to get me to come off all of my 1s.

I'm surprised this thread only lasted a day.
