What's the low(ish) end of the THC market? (1 Viewer)

Any socially normal (functional) and rational person interested in "American Casino Clay Chips" by this time has only the option of CPC, IMHO.

Why give $1 million for an old Ferrari, when you can have a stunning Porsche for $200K
If you are a sick collector, you 've got to be filthy rich.

I just said… “fuck it…it’s only money…money isn’t that cool to look at on my shelf….I can’t shuffle money…it’s boring as hell to talk about….green chip worst chip…money is green…tigers are cool and eat meat…I like meat…meat prices are going up…chip prices are going up….I like…fuck it…buy some expensive chips…then you won’t have to sell the less expensive but still expensive chips to buy the chips you want in the first place”.

Let me know if you would like a more detailed line of thinking….this is how my brain works…I bought more tigers than I need, but my wife still has money for yarn so it’s cool.

I could literally go on like this for hours.

Bottom line…spend more than you can afford but no more than your wife will notice. You will be soooo happy you did…

This is the way…

@ekricket REALLY wants to sell these chips.

What do you have to offer him?
I’m just throwing options out in the lower end.

I know the standard response to threads like these is “spend thousands of dollars like I did, see!!” I’m just trying to stay a little truer to the spirit of the thread title, not looking to pick fights.

It’s not a bad time to be buying, really. Right here you can get 500 mint Paulsons (Jumers secondary) from a retailer no less, for $850.
Not that I love RHCs, but mint ones aren’t bad. And I don’t think you can get 500 spotted inlayed CPCs for that price.

I offered an option just as you did. I just could never be sold on trying to piece together a used THC bike tire set. Could it happen quick? Sure. Could it take forever? Yup. And even then it still might be settling for colors/edge spots/etc.
CPC > THC bike tires every single time IMO.
Unless if you can get ahold of a matching playable set in one purchase. So again, that’s where my original post comes into play. Throw $15 a chip at someone and the sets will come out.

OK, unleaded (just like CPCs) chips in quantities you can't fully control, NOT THCs, probably sounding less impressive than some CPC molds. But they are Paulson casino chips; true.

Again, it's a matter of priorities. Some people would value whatever shit has been played with (or has been available to play with) in a real casino.

Others, like me, would like their own view about chips to be produced.

Definitely appreciate both of you, @chipinla and @ekricket, (and others) weighing in with options—very helpful to be thinking about both ends of the spectrum. It might be a little while before cash actually flows, though.

I think if you’re patient you can find good deals, but really the only reasonable deals for Paulson imo are the types of chips @ekricket is showcasing/selling. I also like the feel of these chips just fine!

I agreed with @upNdown on considerating getting Mint RHC Paulson.

While I personally don't mind playing with worn leaded THC. it just not everyone cup of tea. Plus Mint Chip are just so much nicer to look and play with

Forgot to mention that begging and praying for specific Paulsons and sending back and forth unwanted quantities may be OK within the same continent, but it's a NO-GO for people on continents other than North America (with shipping, insurance and Customs costs included).

I built a set like that when I was "young" and enthusiastic here. I would never do it again.

Never again! ;)

You've said "never again" at least 6 times now....
I 've said "never again" about Paulsons, as a destitute inhabitant of another Continent. And I 've kept my word.
I 've only made CPC sets, other than the one Paulson set pictured above.
