What set of chips would you give a kidney for? Is it a set from a real casino? Is it a a set you would design and have made yourself? Is it a super hard set to find or a set out of your price range? For me currently it is probably the WTHC chips that came out at an inopportune time as I had just bought 1200 Pharaohs a 500 custom order from ASM (CPC) and purchased 320 TR King Deadwoods. The way the poker chip market was going i thought there would be plenty of time and other oppuopportunities that would be available. Upon returning it has gone the opposite direction that I expected and things have become very limited in opportunities. What set do u wish you had??

I'm going with Binions early WSOP tournament set. It checks all the boxes. Genuine Paulson casino chips with a rich history, and they are beautiful to boot. I don't know if I would give a kidney for a playable set, but if money were no object, I might try to put one together. The high denoms especially would cost a small fortune, if I could even find them and pry them away from anybody. But we're dreaming here, so this is my choice.

Dream set number two is a little more realistic. A custom CPC set that I have in the works, and will hopefully be ordering around the end of this year.

I 've made all my dreams come true.
This is the worst fate of any dreams.

Bonus: Dreams are my reality

The Binions WSOP is a dream sample set for me. I wouldn’t be able to pass one up, I don’t think.

I can definitely respect that. I too have a passion for Binions and the original home of the WSOP. Nice answer.

I am super new to the chip scene, but I would love to get my hands on a set of the CPC Roman Mold Rounders Teddy KGB replica chips. I know I read somewhere that the roman mold is broken and out of commission, so I would imagine they are the last of a dying breed. Even to get a single chip to use as a card protector would be dope!

I have a version.

A faux set of Paulson Classics on a custom PAULSON CHIPS tribute ceramic hybrid mold from Tina. To be brutally honest, I'd probably like 'em better than the originals.

Ok, I think I thew up a little just then.

Wow, they are gorgeous! Are both the brown and black bears from CPC? When they were in production, did they switch from one to the other at some point? The Roman mold was so cool!

I think they were different runs. Not sure if cpc or if they were asm. The cash set has the brown bear and the tourney chips have the black bear

A full cash set from Ocean's Eleven Casino, in Oceanside, California. The first casino in which I ever won a tournament, long before I ever thought of collecting casino poker chips.. I've always loved those chips. Unfortunately, I've never seen -- or even heard of -- such a set.

Second would be a cash set of ACFs to go along with my tourney set.

Third would be a limit set of $1s and $20s (which I consider the most beautiful single chip ever made) from the Showboat in AC.

Fourth would be a cash set from Harrah's New Orleans, which I consider top to bottom the most beautiful art of any casino set.

Christmas is coming if anyone wants to donate... :cool

Those are ASM. The brown bears were done by someone on CT (IIRC). That was the change that they were allowed to make that wouldn't break the deal with Miramax but still be "close".

(I'm 95% sure that's the case. I'm trying to remember the details, but the essence is the same).

[EDIT to add] The black bears were allowed because the bear was facing the other direction from the movie chips and had a different typeface.
