I visited Baltimore last week for work and was pumped to finally play some live casino poker after a seemingly endless quarantine up here in Canada!

I hit up Maryland Live! in nearby Hannover for two nights of 1/3 and chalked up a 500 profit after about 8 hours at the tables. Yahoo! I highly recommend visiting this poker room, endless tables and from what I saw a very soft player pool.

AND, to cap it all off I harvested a barrel of these beautiful 2’s! They cleaned up nicely after a good scrub with the electric toothbrush and the colours really POP! Enjoy the Before and After pron!

nice looking chips! i wish uk casinos used paulson. our chips are shameful.

I was at Maryland Live for the first time just before Christmas. What a nice casino and poker room...that sits right next to a regular strip mall. I've never seen anything quite like it. The poker room is awesome. 25 tables on the lower floor running cash and 25 tables upstairs for tournaments. On a Friday at 10am, the room was almost full... That doesn't happen in my area...ever.

Anyway, when I sat down at 1/3, I looked up and it appeared that someone raised me across the table to $26. I asked the dealer if that was the raise and he said, no it's $3. It looked like a $25+$1. The dealer then confirmed that was a $2 chip with the $1. I had never seen a $2 chip used at the table before. He then looked at me and said, "Where are you from?...you must not be from around here " Like I was the one that was the oddball. Anyway, it did make me look like a poker novice which played in my favor...and I agree the tables are "very manageable" there. I wish I lived locally for that very reason.

The $2 chips are amazing in color, although a bit worn down. I took a $1 and a $2 for my collection of poker rooms I've played in.

MD live has a great poker room. And the proximity to the mall is awesome because it gives you a lot of options for food (the eatery is just inside the mall doors). The action is great at that casino, especially for the lower stakes games. For the higher stakes games, I think the MGM has a deeper bench thou. The other thing is md live is much more accommodating and flexible that MGM, especially for hosting semi private games (higher stakes). The horseshoe poker room in Baltimore city sucks compared to md live.
