It was a bit touch and go with the risk of rain, but it became official after the 5th. 41 parks in the books, 3 to go (Seattle, Minnesota and Houston).

I was under impressed with the stadium. Probably the worst of the new stadiums I've seen. Parking is horrible, the flow in the concourses is jacked up.

The sightlines from the seats were pretty good, tho.

Altanta blew a 3-0 lead in the 9th, then gave up 2 more in the 10th. Rockies win 5-3. And no home run by Acuna.

8 mile run in 85 degrees plus 99% humidity. I could use some 68 degree casino ac.

Weekend getaway to an upstate cottage with the Mrs. in the Hudson Valley. Started at the Angry Orchard which got things off to a rollicking start at noon Friday.

Took the tours of FDR’s home Springwood, the Presidential library and museum and the Vanderbilt mansion. Spent a solid 3 hrs in that library and museum. Unexpectedly fascinating, even for huge history, documentary, FDR and Eleanor buffs like we are.

Lots of little eateries around but its hard to be impressed when you’re native to New York City and the boroughs. Only thing we couldn’t fit in that we wanted to was a performance of Richard II by Hudson Valley Shakespeare. The outdoor performance space is amazing. Once saw Macbeth there on a rainy, thunderstorming night and it was chill-inducing. Overall, a fun trip to peace and quiet from the kids. Headed to a flea market now to see what we see...

Had a hell of a June/July. Our lives and vacations revolve around baseball (travel/club ball). Went from San Diego to New York/Boston, back to San Diego. Stops at Sacramento and Stockton in between. It was a fantastic summer and then right back to work....to pay for all of it!

Nice tombstone in the Cathedral, with the Jolly Roger on it; said to communicate via tunnel to a cave on the outer cliff of the island

Yearly spearfishing trip to Puerto Aventuras
Mexico. Speared the biggest Hogfish of my life. All told we bagged over 40 lobsters, 9 crabs and 60 fish!
Had a hell of a trip. My STT tourney set is going to be a relabel to commemorate it.
Pics to come in a separate thread.

Not sure what the last picture shows... The chair? The overhang? The wall? The tree? The neighbors?

Wait. Did Detroitmom get an invisible suit?
