I was waiting on my scrown set until today.

I think I was one of the last 2 or 3 scrown sets to go out on this wave.

I still need to oil my chips and take proper pics, but my initial impressions are really positive. Cash and tourney chips all turned out great. Should get these into play next weekend. Can’t wait.

Design question: What was the diameter of the inner black circle? (I’m trying to sense how big that outer white ring is.) I have an outer circle on my next set and was curious to compare sizes.

Same. I was pinched for time and just did what I felt looked about right, but these came out beautiful and would love mine to be similar.

Here's my design (proof pending) with the inner ring. I'd like to get that ring as thin as possible, but I think I can't push it any further. It's going to be a while before I see these as I'm behind the Key West Casino order in the queue.

Edit: just looked at my notes- my outer ring is .0625” thick (starts at the .750” red line on his template) as David recommended.

I could be mistaken but I feel like the circle can’t be much thinner than what you and I both have because of how they cut the inlay. Looks very similar. Any idea how large the Key West order is? I’ll be behind that also.

I think mine is a little less than 1/16 of an inch. Maybe check with David Spragg. I believe I initially sent him a version with a smaller outline and he said something like “that’s too small; make it bigger.”

I just eyeballed mine unscientifically. David hasn’t sent me proofs yet but I was going to say that I would believe he would let me know if mine was too close. He gave me feedback on the sizing of my cash set.

I spoke with David about this and he said 1/16” is sort of the standard. It seems like my tournament set sizing was about right at close to 1/16”.

There's a couple thousand chips left to do on Scroll (info from one week ago) before H-Mold can move in, and apparently a ton of orders have piled up for H-Mold so should also run for a good while.

I think in general people have been lobbing in tons of orders which may be stretching the production schedule. At least that is what I am telling myself to set expectations low on turnaround.

So CPC has orders that extend out 9 months? Wow, maybe I should design a set now so that my kids can have it when I’m dead.

Of course my little girl doesn’t care too much about poker. She loves to play with the chips though
