Anyone know where I can get ahold of regular playing cards that are just paper and NOT plastic coated?

Long winded explanation if anyone cares -

I have a river jackpot game in my monthly tournament, players can purchase a card out of a deck for a dollar and if that card matches the river of the last hand of the tournament, they win the pool.

I like to date stamp each card that is purchased, because it's cool and also theoretically if more than one person tried to claim it (unlikely for such a small sum) we would have the stamp to tell us which card was legit.

I stamped cards last month, and since they were plastic coated the date stamp smeared on everyone's card. I really need to find super cheap cards that are literally plain paper stock with no plastic coating so a stamp can dry on them.

Not sure about uncoated card sourcing, but something like a Staz On ink pad (or hot branding) might not smudge.

Great idea. The cheaper the cards the better, I would think, for getting something semi-porous.

Use a sharpie.

But a sharpie's not cool like a stamp with the date and my game's logo on it! :) Besides, eventually yes a sharpie will dry, but it's just as likely to smear for awhile after signing the card.

I think I'm going to give the Staz On ink a try, I'm also going to check out the dollar store for sure.

Dolor store, I have purchased a bunch of casino used decks at the Dolor store for my fundraiser tournament, so I can throw them away...

Oh , and they are only a $1, In case you are wondering....

Edit, I think these cards are coated...My bad.
