The Amazing Poker Man?? (2 Viewers)

I know they are meant to look like spotted paulson chips; however, I think you are missing an opportunity to make the 100 "swirling with sand" with the full face printing on ceramics. IMHO...
I'm still learning Inkscape, so copy, paste, and color swap are pretty much my limit at the moment, lol. If Any of the real artists on here want to do something like that, they can! I know the labels for the hybrids can do things in more detail than traditional ceramics, so I assume the swirling sand would work on the inlay as well.

I'm an avid Spider-Man fan, so just curious about your selection on the art used for the inlay. This looks like the chest logo from one of the movies, specifically Toby Maguire's version in Spider-Man 2. Just wondering if you preferred this one to one of the more classic front or back logos from the comics:

I might go a more classic look, since I am going more off the comics for my color schemes. It's still very much a WIP. Most of the people here are probably a bit on the older side, so it might be better. Having said that, the first Tobey Maguire movie was from 2002! Has it been that long?

Here is a Kingpin $500, though It might end up in the Tournament set, if I end up doing one.

Here's the first version of the tournament set. I mostly used the colors from the cash set, so may have to rethink that. I went with the Miles T100, and old school Shocker for the T1000.

How about having the earlier spiders on lower denom chips, and get newer spider logos as the denoms increase?
Hmm. So a logo progression to go along with the edge spot progression! I had thought about a different logo for the tournament set but I kinda like the progression idea. Would that have any impact on the labeling fee? Might have to ask @justincarothers about that.

Also, I'm going with an A and B on the nickel. I like the 1/4 pie, but feel that's too much white to be Venom.

Would not matter. All labels are different for each denom anyway

I like this idea! I love the web behind the spider. I think you could do the web on the entire background, but in a gray, so it doesn't interfere with the black images and text.

I would go with a much lighter tint of gray for the web, so it doesnt detract from the graphic and type. Also, if you're doing this on the web mold, you may want to skip the web in the background of the label altogether.
How's this, too light? Current plan is to go with a progressive logo on the tournament set, and the 1973 logo on the cash set, since that's the year I was born.

Unless I end up going even lighter on the web, I think I'm done. I'm not in a rush to finish the sets, but I think they are in a good place right now. I don't want to keep tinkering and end up messing them up. One thing I might do is try to make the edge spots more realistic looking, but I don't have the template for that. I still need to convert them to CYMK and save the file as an .AI. For the hybrids, do the inlays need to be in a different file than the chips?

Yes, one file with the base chips and another with the labels.

Looks amazing! (Ba dum tiss)

I know it's more tinkering, but I might drop the commas in the 1K-25K chips. Might just look nicer tightened up.

Suggestion: I like the name Parkers Palace more than Place. Gives it a more casino-ey feel. Love the progress you made in this thread. Keep it up
