Take Brie to the Movies (4 Viewers)

Always down for Stump... ours is portable... should bring a hammer and nails to @Seeking Alpha Social Club LOL!

Also could play some Spool but too damn much to transport

Fun game I invented myself. You stand 10 ft away and flip Copenhagen cans off your thumb for points! Was actually a big hit a couple years ago. Brie and I carried two damn spools with us for a while. Like corn hole but requires much less space.

These were early prototypes but you can kind of see the scoring system here

Basically half the points if you come off the back board. 4 points up front if you can land on the front of the spool and stick it. Minus one for the blue ledge in the back... which a lot of cans wind up on that ledge. I have hit the glory Hole twice but not easy to do as it is barely larger than the can and from 10 ft away flipping with your thumb, it is not easy to do.

On the comedy side, the already-mentioned Holy Grail, for sure.

And on the more serious side, if you're into sports, Chariots of Fire (with its stupendous Vangelis soundtrack) beats out The Sting and The Natural, IMO.

Otherwise, Lawrence of Arabia, Cuckoo's Nest, Godfather, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars...

I watch all four Indiana Jones movies at least twice a year... and Brie rolls her eyes every time! Haha the new one sucks but still enjoy it somewhat. If I had to rank them it would be. 1/3/2/4 but I obviously watch them in order.

I never got into the Monty Python stuff, wasn't my type of humor. I am more "Your Highness" "Euro Trio" "Step Brothers" and "We are the Millers" type of humor.

Movies before 1992 to put on the list. I tried to not repeat previous mentions except the first category:
  • Drama: The Godfather I and II, skip III (Listed numerous times, but goes to show the first two are must-see flicks)
  • Horror: They Live (cult classic starring ‘Rowdy‘ Roddy’ Piper)
  • Action: Hamburger Hill
  • Sci-Fi: Enemy Mine
  • Coming of age (with kickass soundtracks): Valley Girl*, St. Elmo’s Fire
  • Comedy: Short Circuit
  • Comedy-Drama: Beaches
*Valley Girl is one of my all-time favs largely because of the soundtrack.

My name is nobody, way before my time but I can re-watch it again and again.
A Bronx Tale (not sure of the year but amazing movie, maybe one of my favourite ones).
