Shit! How could I forget the Princess Bride, Neverending Story and Willow?!!

But has anyone also touched on things like:

the original Karate Kid, 1 and 2 (3 is optional but absolutely stay away from “The Next Karate Kid”)

all the Rocky movies (and also absolutely stay away from Rocky V!)? Or are we assuming that those are just too classic and have obviously been seen?

Back to the Future 1-3

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and 2 (3 is optional)

I thought I saw Spaceballs mentioned before, and Blazing Saddles, but what about the rest of Mel Brooks?
Young Frankenstein
History of the World Part 1
Robin Hood Men in Tights

And alongside Breakfast Club there’s:
Pretty in Pink
Sixteen Candles
Weird Science
Short Circuit
Say Anything
One Crazy Summer
Hiding Out
Just one of the Guys
Red Dawn (the original)
The Outsiders
Young Guns 1 and 2
Men at Work

(skip ahead a little)
Dazed and Confused
Heathers

Dude. This is the worst movie ever made, except Freddie Got Fingered. That is the worst movie ever made.

I don't suppose you were a regular viewer of MST2K/3K, were you?

One phrase: "Manos, Hands of Fate". Runner-up: "Mountain Climbing".

And The Dark Crystal, Princess Bride, Stand By Me, and Breakfast Club are considered classics by a lot of people.

I'm not sure if these are old enough and haven't seen any of them in forever but I really enjoyed:

High Fidelity
A Simple Plan
12 Angry Men 1997
Point Break 1991
Stir of Echoes

I know there are a few movie threads out there, but this is the quickest one to come to mind. Now I am NOT recommending watching this, unless you have some morbid curiosity, but I just discovered that, at least for now, the cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space is on Netflix. Absolutely one of the campiest and smh funnest "sci fi" dark type comedy movies I've seen. Back from the 80s and the costumes and sets are so much fun to see. If you decide to watch it just don't come after me for it being a bad movie. It is bad. It's just so bad, it's worth seeing at least once. A group of friends had costumes custom made to model after the "Klowns" in this film one Halloween and won a shit load of contests. Hilarious.

Always makes me think of this Klassic Klip!

Real Genius is Val's greatest work! And a damn fine teenage romp fest. Brainy and stoopid at the same time. An all time favorite.

And Better off Dead...."Lane? Do you mind if I date Beth?"

A Few Good Men
Just caught this last night. It never occurred to me before, but Markinson goes UA in Cuba. And then he shows up in the back of Danny's car in DC? How did he get it off the island when he was UA?! You don't expect me to believe he left Cuba on a military plane while on UA, do you? Maybe he flew back to the states then went UA? But he went UA he afternoon Jo and Danny left Cuba...it was never mentioned that he was supposed to fly back to the States.

Just sloppy writing.

To Miami. You know Guantanamo Bay is on the south side of the island, right?

And the writers have him show up in the back of Danny's car in Washington DC? I guess he swam with some luggage and hitch-hiked to DC? How else would he transport his full dress uniform (including sword and pistol) when he later kills himself?

He also had his full dress uniform (including sword and pistol) when he later kills himself, so I guess he swam with that too?
Just some early morning sarcasm Saul. :ROFLMAO: Still wiping the cobwebs out of my eyes. I’ve never seen the movie but now I may have to watch and try to figure out this mystery.

Simple - he follows the Cuban baseball player path. Boat to Dominican Republic, plane to Mexico, car to United States. Would also explain why it took him soooooooo long to get from Cuba to DC. Also got to remember that back then if you had American identification (drivers license) you could get through customs at the border easily (they didn't have the high speed databases yet to run every name and ID that came through there). No need for wading your way across a river or walking through a desert.

I hear he had experience altering tower logs. Maybe check with airmen O'Malley and Rodriguez at Andrews?
