Noob here...and probably noob question..

Does Paulson have 'stock' designs, or designs that casinos can just choose instead of designing their own?

Graton's Casino chips look very similar to Rivers' Casino chips (both attached). I know Aria and Bellagio have similar designs, but they are also both owned by MGM which might explain that.

Pauson stopped selling to the public well over a decade ago. There are no "stock" designs from them.
I didnt mean from the public. I meant, are there designs Paulson will usually provide (so the casinos dont have to worry about picking their own colors) or is it just a huge coincidence that those two casinos (basically across the country) picked almost the exact same designs. More of a hypothetical since Paulson keeps everything sealed tight, but wasnt sure if someone actually knew.

For cash checks, Paulson generally does not duplicate specific combinations of chip base colour and edge spot colours/patterns between casinos of different ownership. Of course, some colours are *very* close in hue and are difficult to tell apart, so similarities may exist. Custom house molds also serve to differentiate chips between properties if the casino decides to utilize them.

In the past, Paulson did have some consistent colours and patterns that they used exclusively for their fantasy lines that were sold to the public (for a time), either by them or by other retailers. CDI, CDM, Classics, VLV, FLV, and many others are examples of this (see Glossary).
