I became an Astros fan the year that they moved to the AL West. The Mariners pissed me off when they would rather market to Canadians in September when the M’s were just out of the playoffs, rather than point that out and sell the seats to our own fans. That and he was against the new basketball arena. Said, “It would be like having an ugly house at the end of your driveway.” He said that at his first press conference as the new owner.

It pains me to say this, but I agree. I dont think a team that won the title last year, and hasn’t lost a game this year should be dethroned. I get the whole “only this year matters”, but I think the other tigers (Clemson) should be number 1!
