Source for good racks for Paulsons (1 Viewer)

On the other hand, if you are so certain about the above, then it shouldn't be an issue to actually inform the casino management (or even just ask) about taking racks home with you...since they won't care or otherwise hassle you. Right? Yeah, didn't think so.
Dave, when did you find the fountain of youth and become a 14 year old? You know I like ya but you have to know how dumb this sounds :D

What I am absolutely certain of is that my leaving the property with an empty Paulson rack is never going to result in handcuffs on my wrists or my being issue a red card by the casino.

Hey, do what ya want.... no skin off my ass. But I'm guessing if you show casino management moose's pile of stolen racks pic, he'll crap his pants. Personally, I don't see it as much different than reaching across the felt and lifting a few chips out of the dealer tray to take home. Hey, you're just planning on using them for your own personal use, so it's not really stealing.....

And for what it's worth, they issue tickets for jaywalking down here all the time, mostly to keep the pedestrian death rate in check. Serious problem in several locations around town.

That, or if they start finding them in the street after being run-over. :)

Next time someone posts pics of racks of live fractionals I expect you'll jump in with similar examples due to the fact that they are casino property and it's known the casino doesnt want them to leave said property? After all, they weren't "bought" any more than I bought the rack they placed my chips in and handed to me :)

I am giving an enthusiastic +1 to the Chipco branded racks recommended earlier in the thread. My (legally purchased) set came this week and as advertised are a perfect fit for Paulsons...happy to report my days of precariously balanced stacks of ill-fitting racks are over.

Paulson rack stash bought from Apache when they were available.

Taking a rack out of a casino is the same as jaywalking. Technically, it's against the law, but nobody ever gets stopped for it.

And for what it's worth, they issue tickets for jaywalking down here all the time, mostly to keep the pedestrian death rate in check. Serious problem in several locations around town.

I got a ticket for jaywalking once. I crossed a 4 section boulevard (each with 2 lanes) at the middle (not at the crosswalk), and before crossing the last stretch, my eyes met a cop who was doubled parked in a patrol car, staring down at me.

I crossed it anyway. This is New York City man...What’s he looking at me for?

So I got a summons. Later I learned it was part of a crackdown on people crossing this particular long boulevard because too many people had got hit by cars crossing this way. The spot where I got stopped was about 20 seconds away from my apartment.

Long story short, the judge lined all of us jaywalkers up, said “don’t jaywalk again,” and let us go. No fine.

He just headed back. I wanted to beat him back there, pass out to a Simpsons episode, and then challenge him to the Worldwide Hallway Wrestling (WHW) title.

Looks like the correct size: 66.7mm per the listing.

Just depends what you're looking for quality-wise... Paulson racks are a different animal compared to the Chinese-made generic chip racks. You're talking apples and oranges.
Good point... I'd prefer the quality first! Thanks!

Palms gaming website not working for me. Any have idea why? I want to order some more chipco racks

I may have some extra chipco racks. I will check in the morning. In the meantime you might want to post a wanted add in the classified section.

So I just found out the hard way that Brybelly's Acrylic Chip Tray 68mm which claims that "Paulson chips fit perfectly" is not true. The length is surely 68mm, but the diameter of the wells is less than 39mm. My Paulson chips are floating above the bottom of the well by about a 1mm. The chips are suspended just by their edges on the edges of the chip tray. I don't like this. I definitely cannot stack these racks without damaging the chips.

Does anyone know if the 66.7mm Chipco racks sold by @Apache allow the chips to rest properly on the bottom of the well?

Friend, you need this thread... https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/new-paulson-chip-rack-supplier.15666/

Thank you, Friend. I have a dozen racks in transit from Unique Enterprises.

Now if only that shady Brybelly reseller would hurry up with the RMA. I called their chip rack defective, they asked for a measurement of my chips, calipers showed 39.07mm, and they said my chips were oversized (not 39mm). 70 micron should easily be within tolerance. RMA #2 will probably not refund my shipping charges.

Sounds like those 68mm racks might seat smaller diameter TRK chips well, although probably 22 to a barrel....
