Skyfall Cash Set (2 Viewers)

Thank you for your feedback! I see how the red/black could be with red-blind/protanopia. Below is an image without corrective lenses. Do you think most people who play poker would be wearing corrective lenses?

Cool filter/edit, though I'd not be seeing what others see. Probably helps others understand. They all look the same except the red $5 which looks even more gray now. Family tell me they all except the black have changed.

I may not be understanding about wearing corrective lenses. Corrective for colour blindness? I've heard of them but didn't realize they are widely used.

I wouldn't know. I just uploaded my set to this color blindness site and kept changing the settings for different types of color blindness. There's a setting called "inverse lens" and when I click it everything looks great. Here's a link: https://www.color-blindness.com/coblis-color-blindness-simulator/

Unless there is a color blind person in your current group, I wouldn't worry about it.

A person with color blindness may join your group at some point in time, but just maybe. But you will be playing with these chips, you will be looking at them, you will be paying for them, get what you like don't worry about color blindness in others or our opinions, get something that you are happy with and think is worth the sizable investment in custom CPCs. Your purchase, your happiness, just my opinion.

Skyfall is just the name I like; the set isn't supposed to be a James Bond theme. I wanted an old Las Vegas, mid-century modern vibe (thus the font and colors). I appreciate the feedback, and you're definitely NOT an asshole. :)

How about using a dot pattern like what appears in the opening credit sequence of Dr. No? That has a mid-century vibe to it. (Since it actually comes from the mid-century)

Like this screen grab (from the opening credits of Dr. No)?

At the risk of sounding like an asshole but coming from a place of fellow JB fandom, there's nothing in this inlay that is reminiscent of the movie Skyfall or the Scottish manor Skyfall other than the name. The graphic elements remind me more of The Big Lebowski than anything Bondish. Why not try some production design elements such as the manor house, the stags, etc.?
This was my thought too but I’ve kept it to myself. Nothing screams Bond. The Skyfall font itself isn’t the same font as the movie. I was thinking rather than “poker room” isn’t skyfall the “house” he grew up in?

That's a cool idea and would be less expensive, but I want to keep my black chip like my profile image (from the casino in Monte Carlo). I also kind of think the half spots have a "circus" feel to them. Here's what it might have looked like. I appreciate the feedback!

Even I agree. Denoms clearly on chips help.

Well, I just submitted my order and payment. This cash set is final (switched to bright white). Inlays still need to be changed for denoms but it's a go! Just in before the small crown mold deadline. Whew! Thanks for the helpful feedback everyone. Such a great forum with nice members. :D
