Show Us Your Live Stacks (28 Viewers)

Grinding 1/2 in Oklahoma. What started off as a terrible night ended up in the green after several hours. 3rd dealt hand of the night I look down at 2 red As. One of the strangest snap calls I've ever seen live. I got stacked after getting it all in vs 55 on a 27J rainbow board after I 3bet 5X original raiser Pre. Ship flop with right around $110, get snap called with 55 on that board? River magic for Villian. Interesting to say the least. Anyways battled back and booked a win. Boom.

I don't know how alot of guys have these sessions where they go from 200 to 1400 in 3 hours. I want in on those games. Most I've ever done is just under $100 profit in about 2 hours of play

I had a good session two nights ago. The game was 10/20 NOK (slightly bigger than 1/2$), but a lot of straddling and more often than not it plays 10/20/40 and often more. Many players in the game are decent players but there are more than enough fish and action players around to make it a good game.

People like to buy in pretty deep, like 200bb+. Im not comfortable doing that because im not really rolled properly for the stakes, so I usually rather take two shots with 75-100 bb, and see what happens from there.

This session was one of those tripling up in 2 hours sessions. The main reason for the action on the table was a super tilted guy at the table and two random fish that just called way too much. I was in for 3k and left with 10k. Doubled up early with AK vs AQ, but lost all of it to the tilted fish after I shoved on him with J9 on a 973 rainbow flop. I raised to 120 pre and get 4 callers, then I C-bet 250 and the tilted guy to my left immediately raise to 800. Everyone folds and I almost insta-shove for 2500 total. He snapcalls with qj and hits q on the turn, lol. Those kind of players make it a good game. I had to rebuy 1500 and built it to 10k in about an hour. Mainly from a few more big pots against him and two other calling stations where I was fortunate enough to flop some strong hands and have them hold up.

The game usually isnt that juicy except for weekend nights, but its great when it is, and obviously its more fun posting a pic of the stack from that night than when I sat for 5 hours and lost half a buyin.

I think its fun with this thread to see huge stacks and/or nice chips from action filled games, but of course any picture is welcomed. Its just fun to see what games people play and what chips they use.

I busted out of the Tourney. In for $45, out mid-field when the blinds were catching up with everyone.
I had just ordered a drink, so I hung around for a few minutes. Once I got my beverage, I checked on @Mrs Poker Zombie . I literally got 1 hour and 1 minute of sleep last night (being a firefighter has disadvantages sometimes) so I was ready to just pack it in. I did not need to donk off wads of cash in the 1-3 NL game.

She was down to 4BB.

If anyone has ever read one of my trip reports, you know that when Mrs Z is in a good mood and is super-short stacked, she has the table figured out, and the suckers at the table are oblivious to their impending doom.

So what could I do? Wander the casino until I get my 10,000 steps - check. Come back, and she is still going. Screw it, I'm buying into a 4/8 limit game.

In $150, out $207. I don't plat a lot of limit, but this thing played far bigger than I expected. Preflop caps at $20. A ton of pots were $150-$200 PF. Even though I was on the button, I quit the game the very second Mrs Z said she was out.

That moment was 2 hours later, and Mrs Z was eliminated in 3rd, in for $45, out for $397. (y)

Mrs Z demonstrated how to sink a boat with Quads...

I don't think such runs are super-common for any one of us, but nights like that do happen. In a large data set like this forum, someone is bound to have a good night, so the appearance is that the deck is hitting all of us. That said, few folks will post their bad runs, so I'm sure the distribution is a bell curve, performance-wise.

Fwiw, my post that started this thread was a very good run: a few hours of 1/3NL, getting felted on my first $300 buy-in, then running my $200 reload up to just shy of $2,000, at an underground club in NYC.

And the night before? I left down $120.

Finally checked out the local card casino last Saturday. Jumped into the mixed game they had running: Holdem, plo, bigo, courchevel, pineapple and crazy pineapple. They only had a single €1 blind though?!? But the straddle was on every time I was in the big, and a few joined in, so played a bit higher. In for 200, out for a bit over 1k. Couldn't lose a pot (sorry for the poor photo quality):

Tuesday I took my daughter and her boyfriend to a concert in Pittsburgh. I love the headliner but they had three opening acts, the first two of which I've never heard of which I generally dislike particularly in a standing room only venue. Turns out Stage AE is a ten minute walk from Rivers so I dropped them off, told her to text me after the second band and walked over to the casino.

In for $300, out for $891 in an hour and a half when I got her text. Didn't take any pics as it was more hit and run than I like... not big loss as their chips suck ass anyways. Most profitable concert I've attended :)

With T25s still on the table, that tells me you're still super-viable. Take it down! (y)

Trying to intimidate with the greens (ok I just really like them and nobody else wants them)

Hanging in there but it's a turbo, so I need some help.

After a rough start not winning a single hand the first 4 hours of yesterday's $140 rb tournament and being in for 4 bullets, I ended up chopping the tournament three-way after 13 hours of play.

Stack at one of the last breaks:

in for $120 out for $1235

at about the 3am point i could feel the biggest leak in my game showing up, pretty much run up a stack, not really care and call every hand, thinking , meh "whatever" then getting pot committed with the 3rd best hand. Luckily that kind of happened and the last hand of double board omaha i spiked an A on the river to give me half the pot with 3 guys all in. Whew!!

Back at the Bavaro casino... fools just playin stoopid. Almost every pot is limped 7-ways (for $5 each). And when I wake up With monsters (QQ-AA) and jack it up to $30-40 pre, I get 1-2 callers. Just wondering what ppl could have worth calling a $40 bet pre, that you'd limp with...?

Nearly every time one of the donks wakes up with a real hand, they lead out for like $10 and get 7 callers... and lose.

Oh, and the tells.., they may as well just play with their hole cards exposed... #feelinglikedanielnegraneau.

Had JJ, bet pre, got two callers, and a AKx board. I get away from the hand, and got to show my fold, and had two other ppl act stunned. "Wow, amazing lay down!" "Nice fold". Really? Seemed pretty easy to me, lol.

Oh damn, I think there's a beach somewhere at this resort, but I can't seem to find it anymore...

Yes there is an awesome beach at this resort. When we went a few years ago and the casino was dead. No fish but me:rolleyes:

Fell 20 short and bought back to Max. At around 10.30 I had reached my Peak.

Was roundabout 150. Had sone sick loss afterwards and cashed out at 1am for90. So a nice small win. Had a rough month so far for -200, so its nice to have even a small win.

I feel like these photos of people quadrupling up in 2 hours should be combined with some stories about bringing $1K in and busting in two hours. Like, we should balance the stories about wins with remembering the losses.

I'm interested to know people's win-rates over time. I like the thread, just want a fuller picture of people's poker experiences!

This was a 1/3 game at my local casino in St Louis. Originally in for 200, within 45 minutes threw in the extra $100 chip as an add on because I was down to $120. 3.75 hour session, cashed out for $1396. This is my largest win ever in a 1/3 game. Here is all the sessions I've played since New Years. I've had some run good, and my large loss was filled with 2 and 3 outers being hit on me. I have put in an insane amount of hours in the past year in the lab to turn my game around. I think once I get closer to 500 hours we will see a real win rate. I think at 1/3 it will be around +10bb/hr in these games. I have not played such soft games anywhere else. In the 2/5 game I played (first ever 2/5) the game was exact opposite of the 1/3 games I've played in STL. I would have rather watched paint dry.
