Hi there,
I have always loved Poker chips, but I have never owned anything more than composite suited chips. I'm training to become a games/Poker dealer in the Bay Area so I've had to focus a lot more on my chips. It's become very important to me to have comfort while practicing cutting chips, shuffling, ect, so I decided to get a few stacks of high quality chips as an upgrade to my composites and practice with casino grade chip.
I found this forum last night and didn't get a lick of sleep researching all of the variables. In the end, I've decided to purchase the Milano sample pack (12), 25x$0.50 Milanos and 25x$5 Milanos from claysmithgaming.com for a total of 62 chips, enough for lots of practice!
I'm interested in branching out to more than just Milanos. What sample packs should I get for variety and trying out new materials? Open to suggestions and looking forward to interacting with y'all.
P.S. If there's any home games in the area, let me know! I enjoy live poker much more than online poker
