Playing 1/2NLHE at local cardroom recently and was dealt the following consecutive hands:

1) 33
2) 99
3) QQ
4) 44
5) 66
6) 33
7) AdKd
8) KK

What are the odds of being dealt 6 consecutive pocket pairs and 6 of 7?

I would call a misdeal. You were only dealt two cards each time. Should be four per hand minimum.

Odds are (1/17) you get dealt any pocket pair.

Odds of pocket pair on 6 consecutive hands are (1/17)^6 = 1 in ~24M

Odds of being dealt pocket pair = 3/51 or 1/17
Odds of being dealt 6 consecutive pocket pairs* (1/17) ^ 6 = 1 / 24,137,569 (I think I'm doing the math correctly)
Odds of 6 out of 7, or 7 out of 8 is a little more complicated... involves using Combination factors. 6C7 or something like that.

* Note--this calculation considers just 6 hands only. A better way to analyze this would be to calculate that if you played 200 (or any other number) poker hands, what are the odds that 6 consecutive would be pocket pairs. For example, the chance of getting 6 consecutive pocket pairs over a time span of 2000 hands is much greater than it happening one time over 100 hands. There is some way to figure out the number of hands that you have to play for 6 consecutive pairs to be 50% likely to happen. (don't ask me how, though).

I won so much money. It's unbelievable how much money I won.

My whole life is about winning. I don't lose often. I almost never lose.

Look at those hands... are those small hands? Do you think Meddler plays small pots with those hands?

Believe me, those pots were YUUUGE! Bigly pots!
