I miss the days when online poker felt secure and safe, like you were playing against honest humans.

I can't say for certain if that security ever really existed. Being blissfully unaware went a long way. My initial buy-in lasted for years, never getting big enough to withdraw or small enough to reload. Then it all went black because of politicians being bought by big business, and I never got my buy-in back out.
