Samples Top hat and cane & CDI (1 Viewer)

Hi, i just ran across some samples of Paulson's Top hat and cane & Casino de isthmus and i was wandering how much they are worth.
There are 7 chips per sample set, CDI has 0.5, 1, 5, 25, 100, 500, 1000 while the other one has 1, 5, 25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000.

I'm bad at valuing singles/samples but in a full set those are like $3-4 per chip. There is no 5k chip in that line though

currently i don't have any of those chips, i came across a site here in italy that sells CDI and top hat and cane for 1.35€/chip (1.39USD), so a sample set is only 9.45€ (9,76 USD)

That site was suggested to me in an italian poker forum and lots of people bought chips or cards there with positive feedbacks, to me it seems a legit site

They haven't been sold retail since 2015 and if anyone still have them, €1.35 is ridiculously cheap. It's your money but I wouldn't do it.

@Brantof are all the chips roughly the same price? Even the higher denomination ones?

Are there any limits on how many you can buy? Like if they only have a single sample set... Then maybe, but there's no way that you can just buy racks of those chips from them.

If I was a betting man, which I'm definitely not and absolutely abhor gambling and everything to do with it, then I would put real money on this being a scam. I just cannot possibly see how there are Paulson CDI chips out there at that price, with unlimited quantities, from a random vendor.

But I agree, if you actually can obtain them then you can flip them here for like 3 to 4 times that value.

... But it's a scam. Just make sure that if you decide to place a purchase, that you do so using forms of payment that will absolutely have your back when nothing arrives or when a product arrived that is not what you purchased.

they accept both paypal and Amex, normally scam sites don't accept those because in 24h i have my money back and they don't get anything

Oh I definitely would not do that. If you do not have chips in your hands, do not post a classified ad.

That is a pretty scummy idea. Either take the risc or don't.

Oh, I very much do not like that set up considering how likely it is this is a scam. 99% likely you won't be able to fill any of the orders and it will be a complete mess.

You should use your own money at your own risk to buy from the website first. If it works you'll make money, but its likely you are getting scammed. Don't wanna push that risk onto other unknowing PCF members.

You mean you're going to try to sell before you even recieve and confirm it's the real deal?? Sorry, but you sell precisely zero sample sets that way
