Just won a $2k pot. $60 preflop 7 ways. I have J987dd.
Flop comes 1064dd. Checks to me and I bet $400. Preflop raiser goes all in for $620. Another player in between called for al little less.
We decide to run it twice and I make the nut straight on both boards.
Only had to dodge nut diamonds which there were almost none left of.

Had a crazy hand 3 handed around 4am. I raised to $15 with KKJQss and they both call.
Flop comes 1066. Villain bets $20 into me and I call and the other player folds. Turn is the miracle K. Villain bets $55 and I just call wanting to give him every chance to make a full house now if he has just a 6 so he can lose his stack on the river if he does.
Well that plan went out the door when the third 6 comes on the river and he bets $175.
I toss my Kings in the muck face up and start laughing. He had actually flopped the full house with 610 so he would have called the raise on the turn for sure.
As it turned out being in position helped me lose the minimum with top full house.

A game of pick up sticks with my girls and a little bourbon too.
They kick my butt almost every game. Their eyes are much better than mine and their tiny fingers can grab the sticks much easier.

Mixed limit game was a huge hit again. We were full (7 players) until 5 am! We didn’t even realize how later it was until 3:30am when someone finally looked at their phone.
In for $400 out for a little over $900.

In order to stay afloat in these trying times my poker room has been rented out for use as an air hockey (soccer) arena.
I'm right there with you. My poker table has been repurposed as the school desk/puzzle staging table. My twins don't see any thing wrong with that.
Dude, same. My PCF topper is being used as a jigsaw puzzle stager on my pool table.

After many months of lockdown I am excited to announce the re-opening of Adam’s Poker Basement!!! 
The boss (my wife) can see the toll of not playing has taken on me. With some safety guidelines in place she has approved a 7 person game for next Friday, Oct 2nd. I sent out a text invite to the 6 most regular players in my group and the game was filled in less than 5 minutes lol.

We started out as self deal. Lately I have been able to fill the games up easily that I know we will be full and have been using a dealer. Tonight we won’t though. My wife capped the game at 7 people total. I don’t want to lose a player spot to have a dealer.
