Hey party people, I've got a great setup of COPAGs that smell like smoke a little too much for me to put into action even during casual games.

Has anyone combated this successfully? I put them in baking soda in a sealed container, no luck, still clings to them. Open to ideas.

Maybe a few drops of vinegar or light acid (e.g lemon juice) may help with removing the odour?
I'd be slightly worried about acid, but household vinegar or lemon juice is probably fine.

I was gonna suggest baking soda for the smoke smell. Put in the water swirl around to dissolve so no grittiness on the cards.

OR... put the little bit of acid in first, then the cards, swirl around, then sprinkle baking soda and make a fizzy bath for the cards. :ROFLMAO:

In Japan, tea leaves are used as a deodorizer.
Maybe, black tea can be used in the same way.
